Beautiful surroundings and a nice meal

My friend and I were traveling with a group of eight and stopped here one day for lunch. It is a very charming place in a lovely countryside. We had a delicious lunch. The service was good. We enjoyed a rose house wine and we each ordered off the menu. My friend and I both had a buffalo... read more

Four of us ate at this restaurant, my friends both had the same spaghetti dish which was tiny, my ravioli was fine and my husband had a starter and main so he was fine. Desserts were basic. Generally a disappointing eating experience.

We spent one week of our honeymoon based in one of the Artimino apartments. On the evening of our arrival we stumbled on this restaurant and sat at a table outside. The food was fabulous. Additional, the old film Roman Holiday with Gregory Peck and Audrey Hepburn was shown in black and white on the side wall of an old... More

My wife and I found this to be the best restaurant in the town. The one at the hotel was sub par and the Del Fina was okay. This one had great ambiance, great house wine, friendly staff, and really good food. Just make sure you don't sit next to the bathroom as it has a weird sewer smell lingering... More

We were pleased to stumble upon this lovely place for lunch. It's awfully special dining inside the walls of an ancient town, and this place had food to match. Lovely patio, great service, true house wine (made nearby) and excellent Tuscan food. Reasonably priced too.

Me and my partner have eaten here twice during our stay. The food is excellent and great value for money. The gnocchi and steak are very good. On Saturday night they projected an Audrey Hepburn film onto the opposite wall and it made a lovely evening even more memorable.

Great staff (the ladies have a better grasp of Englsh!), great vibe and picturesque spot. Quirky modern decoration, food slightly hit & miss, but steak & salad good, some nice veggie options - rare in Italy. The crepe/pizzas were fab as starters, good pasta dishes, nice home made desserts. Overall, happy & vibrant atmosphere and we enjoyed a lovely family... More

The service was fab! (Thank you Aleeza and the rest of the lovely staff - especially Manuel the chef for his flavours, colour and presentation). The food is to die for and needless to say, their house wine is local, excellent and well priced - we shall return!

Worth every euro you spend. We ate here about 4 times in our week visit to Carmignano. Staff speaks English but we did our best in speaking Italian, was appreciated! Honest food, and I just loved the tartufo dishes! We'll be back for sure.... We've been coming here for a couple of years now. Alla prossimo anno!

Really nice place to sit outside in the middle of the small town of Artimino. The staff is nice and helpful and speaks English pretty well. Loved the meat and cheese and the bruchetta. We went here a couple of times and the wine is nice as well. Not too expensive compared to the other places around Artimino.
