Food wonderful owner very helpful ambiance stunning we actually ate there on several occasions, each time we were stunned by the owners recommendations for dinner. The dessert of sorbe was served in its own fruit skin there was chestnut, walnut, banana, peach and strawberry Michelin star for presentation and taste.

We were shown the fish that wad available by our aimiable waiter and decided on salmon and mussels starter followed by sharing the seabass for... More

Fish foodies could do a lot worse than this! Fridays (only) fresh fish menu with whatever has come in, cooked simple and served basic. Ask to see the catch - especially if you're not sure of the Italian names for things - it's on display. Try the mixed menu for a range of flavours. One of my nicest fish experiences... More

No dislikes. Great food in great surroundings. A very large cellar. Large car park across the road.

The restaurant was recommended to us by the owners of Tenuto Cusmano for its Friday fish dinner. We found the meal delicious, and the staff incredibly helpful.

The focus here is on the grills - lots of different meats cooked very well. The pastas were only OK. However the service and atmostphere were great, so all in all we had a nice evening here. It was full of locals on a mid-week evening which says it all.

It's not a fancy restaurant with chic deco. However, when dining at La Cavola d'Oro, it feels like you're in a big family & friend's dinner, wooden tables, big ceramic plates, baskets full of fruits in the middle of tables, great selection of dessert on a big tray in the middle of the restaurant. Many people (most of them, very... More
