We ate here a couple of times. It is a small place overlooking the promenade and it's name gives the game away. They major on pizzas as well as fish and meat so you get a lot of families with kids in there (not that there is anything wrong with that). The waiters are young and very informal but friendly... We'd received a couple of recommendations, so were very hopeful. Had an OK meal - the great shame is that the food could actually be OK - with some nice fresh swordfish. There was an undercurrent of offhandedness from the staff, which my daughter noticed as well. We ended nearby up on a Saturday evening without a reservation so tried... More

Found this without reading any reviews and now can't understand what's been written previously because we had really good food. My wife's spaghetti vongole was amazing, our daughter's tagliatelle bolognaise was unusual (pork or veal?) but very tasty, although my veal was not quite as good as da Nello's. However, the pear and ricotta tart was fabulous - Michelin star... More

The food is fairly basic, perfectly edible and tasty, but I felt we paid a lot for what we had. Starters were poor value, but main courses much better. It is in a good location set just back from the sea with views across the beach.

A good solid and traditional restaurant which is clearly very dependable, but nothing out of the ordinary. Nowhere as good as Perbacco (and the same price) and rather impersonal

After having dined here several times as tourists and with locals, we have concluded that the pizza is very good, the wine list is sufficiently extensive and the desserts are done well. The frito misto ( fried seafood assortment) was not generously proportioned offering a few calamari rings, several shrimp and the rest in anchovies. The calamari rings were very... More

ate here on our first night as everywhere else was either a take away or empty, this place was full. Food was good, not special , but good enough, wine was cheap, 12 euros for a carafe of house white, which was very drinkable. had a bad storm, whist eating and we was outside, but staff dealt with it and we thought... The location is pleasant and the food average. The young waiter, however, paid more attention to his car than to the small number of lunch-time diners whom he treated with conceited arrogance. We were pleased to finish and leave.

As the first negative review I have written on this site, as I understand the impact these reviews can have on a local businesses. However, the food here was just bad. My partners ravioli was barely Luke warm in the centre, and the edges of the pasta still hard (we won't mention the merit of the dish itself outside of... More
