This is a fun, local Irish restaurant. I actually liked this place better than the restaurants at the Doonbeg Lodge. We ate there twice. It is worth eating there.

We visited here while staying at Doonbeg and have to say the food at Morrisseys did not disappoint. The menu has a wide range of dishes to choose from with focus on local produce as well as a great wine selection. (...although I did cave in to a fantastic pint of guinness when I saw someone else order it!) Morrisseys... More

My friends and I were not expecting to find this culinary delight in a small village in Clare but that is what is great about Morrissey's, it is down to earth service, high quality food. As the saying goes Morrissey's is 'big enough to stock it, small enough to care'. The menu boasts a large selection of fish and non-fish... More

This restaurant was recommended by our hotel so we went for dinner since we were in the area. The food was very good as was the service. I don't like seafood however their crab spring roll was amazing. Main was very good and definitely the cherry on the cake was the dessert: the best sticky pudding i ever had. Worth... More

We stayed in Morrissey's three years ago for one night and loved our stay so we always said that we would come back to it hoping that it would still be as nice. This time we booked three nights stay and we had a fantastic time. It was just as we had remembered it. The hospitality from Hugh and his... More

four of us visited Morrissey's last Saturday night - amazing dining experience. Service was great, but the food was really fantastic - I had fresh Crab Cakes, while others in my party had other dishes, and each of us was really delighted with our food. Fabulous deck to the side of the restaurant, with beautiful views. We will definately return

From meeting us at the car with our late arrival to helping anyway he and his staff could. This was a excellent experience for our group. The rooms were large and very well appointed with detailed daily service. The pub's staff made us feel right at home and the food was exceptional. I can't say enough about Hugh and how... More
