When you have the best ingredients, they speak for themselves

Morrisseys has a simple formula - pick the best ingredients, no need to be fussy on finesse, cook well and serve. Locally sourced jumbo prawns - wow - in garlic so mind that shirt. House made scampi - the best I've tasted. Locally sourced steak - nothing required. Vegetables done exactly right and... read more

Wonderful food. I was there with a group of women on a golf trip and they were very accommodating. There were 13 of us and they were able to seat us fairly quickly and kept everything straight!

We were staying at Trump's place, and wanted to get "out" for the night. We were a bit weary because the photos do not do this place justice. The atmosphere is very nice, the food was excellent and the desserts were amazing! (did I mention that the service was great too?!)

I would recommend this place. Really good food and service. Really good prawns. Just found Alcoholic drinks a small bit pricey. Example Can Bulmers €4.50 and Glass wine €7 But apart from that. I'd definitely be back. Lovely views aswell while eating.

Crab Claws, amazing specials, great wine list - this is our chosen date night location every year in Doonbeg. Cozy up on the porch with a glass of your favorite while you wait for your table - well worth the wait!

To start with the place: every lamp is tilted and half of the clocks not working. Luckily, no complaints about the food. I was quite surprised about my crab-ravioli, because I had the wrong idea about it. I had those small Italian style ravioli in mind, so getting one big ravioli surprised me. It turned out to be lovely. The... More

We ate here on a busy bank holiday Sunday and could not have enjoyed our meal more. The crab claws were without compare, the best I have ever had being large, succulent and tasty. Of note also is the wonderful brown bread. Very pleasant staff and overall ambience. We are very much looking forward to going back.

We really enjoyed our meal at Morrisey's, infact, my brother suggested it because he had just been there a few years before! My husband and I split a chicken dish and it was plenty of food and quite delicious!

This is a great little neighborhood spot in Doonbeg. Granted, most of the customers are tourists from the Trump Lodge but the atmosphere and feel of the place gave the aura of a cozy Irish jaunt. I had the scampi, which was to die for -- lightly breaded and fried and the prawns were very fresh. The chips were American... More
