All our family members agreed this was the best taverna restaurant in Stalis. We have been here twice and, surprisingly, the owner remembered our preferences. The food and drinks were excellent and the prices reasonable. Try their fish

My family and I have returned from a two week holiday near Stalis in Crete. The quality of restaurants in the town varies considerably however we ate at Taverna Pelagos. After trying a few others we returned. I noticed that many of the same people I had seen a few nights previously were eating there again. Taverna Pelagos is to... More

So we ordered 3 starters between us to share - nachos with chilli, mussels and also some snails (as my partner has never tried these before) wow they... More

Liked everything! Food is wonderful, great choice, best wine in Stalis!! And a view to die for. The owner Stelios is so friendly and helpful, there's nothing about the area he doesn't know! I can thoroughly recommend this restaurant for an unforgettable holiday experience and although it's placed at the far end of Stalis the walk is wonderful (and flat!)... More

This was our fourth holiday in Crete after a four year break. We had always stayed in Stalis but this year we decided to try Piskipiano. However, we made the trip four nights out of the seven to Pelagos. Stelios and his family, (originally of the 9 Muses restaurant, where we had eaten on previous holidays), were as welcoming as ever... More
