Steaks & ribs

Been there twice over the last year. It's a restaurant next to the ferry pier that specializes in grilled meats (fillet & rib-eye steaks, ribs). Rib-eye was good in size and quality although not outstanding. Nicely dressed with rosemary and sea-salt and grilled to order (medium). Greek chefs tend... read more

Pork ribs with ouzo sauce... Very nice! Sometimes it's crowded so the service isn't that fast. But the owners and the workers are always kind and they understand the kids.

Cape Crocodile has its name from the view to a mountainrock, looking like a crocodile in profile. The same view has all other restaurants and cafe's on the harborfront. It's a wonderful view over the Lybian Sea. Cape Crocodile is primarily used as a cafe in the daytime, and as a restaurant in the evening. As a cafe it is... More

After visiting Paleochora three times I cant believe I never found this Restaurant before. Absolutely first class. It's not always easy to get a good steak in Crete but here it was cooked to perfection Exactly as I ordered it.The wine was vintage ( Not Greek). The staff and the service were all 5* I cant wait to visit again

Near the mooring bay for the local ferry with a sea view aspect we tried (again) the ribs combo for two. Good value and a real platefull - sticky fingers guaranteed. Kaiser beer is also served which makes a change from the local Greek stuff

You could go here for all the normal Greek things and it is very popular for them, or for the sea and harbour view, which at times of the Red Moon (1 and 2 days after a Full Moon June to September) is perfect, or for the varied and classy wine list; but we go very regularly for the steak... More
