Ate the rice meal (sort of like Costa Rican fried rice). Vegetables were nice and fresh and meal was tasty. Clean environment & fast service. Not much variety on the menu so if you are looking for something extravagant you will not find it. Appears family run business.

Though easily overlooked from the outside, this restaurant is worth a trip. It is nothing fancy - but a solid choice for decent tico food. Menu perhaps on the basic side, but what they do they do well. Also, this is the first place in this very touristy town that hasn't felt overpriced - which was very refreshing. The owners... More

Background: While shuttling back and forth to the canopy tours, our tour group often passed by this small soda (eatery) that was always frequented by ticos (locals) and so, for lunch, we decided to give it a try. PROS: Location... location... location is one of its best assets. Although it is on the outskirts north of Santa Elena, it is... More

I ate here and had the steak fajitas. I agree with others that it was tasty and well-priced, but it wasn't so amazing that I'd send all my fiends there. Solid, good, worthwhile.

My boyfriend and I ate her our final night in Monteverde. We wish we had discovered it sooner! The food was amazing and the wait staff and kitchen staff were so friendly. The prices were also very reasonable! I would definitely check out Soda La Salvadita when you are in Monteverde!!

We passed this place many times while being driven around town and they always seemed busy. We finally had the chance to stop and it was definitly worth the visit. My husband had homemade nachos with a light cheese and beans served on the side. I ordered spagetti and they served me 'fideo' which is a spanish noodle dish. It... More

After reading about this place on trip advisor, we decided to check it out. It is slightly further away from the centre of Santa Elena, but is definitely worth the 5 minute walk! We came back two nights running as the food was absolutely sensational, the owner was a lovely guy, the smoothies were very tasty, and it was all... More

This restaurant is a little outside of the town center, so perhaps that's why you'll get a better price and better service than at the restaurants at the city center. The food was tasty, the owner was attentive, and the prices are very reasonable. I recommend eating here.
