Super greasy quesadilla, made with margarine it seemed like, and not that cheap for what it is. We liked Sabor Tico better.

Even though it doesn't look like much from the outside, the food is excellent, the service is excellent.

I've mentioned this in another review - how you have to dig a little to find true Costa Rican cuisine in Monteverde! This was just what I was looking for! Friendly, quick service, delicious Casadas! So good! It's nothing flashy in terms of decor but it's a great sampling of one of the un-westernized locations in Monteverde. Highly recommended!

Not an upmarket place but locals eat there which is always a good sign! Food was good and traditional and cheap and a cool place to watch the world go by.

It was recommended by our hotel. We had a quick lunch there of hamburger and fries. The meal was good but a bit greasy. It was value for money.

I ate lunch here by myself, after a hike. I had the vegetarian casado, which was large and delicious, as well as a very good price. Service was excellent. We had looked here the night before, but selected a different restaurant, which is to bad, since I'm sure my husband would have enjoyed it ( he was not feeling well... More

Went every day for lunch, trying the various casados. All we delicious, and served quickly. The homemade hot sauce is nice and spicy - I put it on everything.
