Great restaurant built around a large tree overlooking the street. I had the casado here which was good, service was good and prices weren't significantly more expensive than other places.

So... the place is pretty funky, how cool is it to dine in a treetop canopy, well, around it. This restaurant is built around the canopy of a tree in the middle of the city... so there is a lot of traffic and car fumes. I loved the tree, but the food, well, I will just say, the meal we...

I think the food is overpriced but the setting is fantastic. Hang out in a real (not Disney) ficus tree overlooking the main street of Saint Elana. Have a "Sex in the Tree" drink...it is powerful and they don't skimp on the alcohol. Cost of drink was reasonable/low maybe $3.95 or $4.95
We didn't stay too long in here as we were going to eat here but got annoyed by how long it took to order so gave up. It's a funky place with a massive tree in the centre. Expensive with poor service (busy at the time)
We had dinner in this place and it was very original to eat in a tree. We took a salad which was good and the price is maybe a little more expensive than elsewhere in Santa Elena but is it worth it.
The concept of a tree house restaurant is pretty cool but the prices are higher than other restaurants in town. The food was good but small portions.
It really is in a tree. It's pretty unique, and quite nice. We had two entres and both were very good, but it was expensive. Staff was friendly and helpful and spoke English. It's right in the center of "town" and there's a Tree House Hotel, too, I think. It was a fun lunch, but at almost $35 for two...

Atmosphere good. Casado above average. Service at lunch very good. Convenient in town. House wine decent.
Went there for dinner. Had nice ambiance being in a tree and all but the food was mediocre. I had the local cuisine and was disappointed. It was way more expensive than what you get at other places and not as good. A very Americanized place. Go somewhere else instead and have real Costa Rican food.
I went there for a snack-and after travelling through south and central America for 6 months occasionally you feel like something familiar. I had no expectations of this place and mainly went for the novelty you couldn't beat the sandwich they served me
