Ranked #21 of 47 restaurants in Unawatuna
Cuisines: Asian

As the title says cheap and cheerful Sri Lankan street food style food..cost u a fraction compared to the high end shops..I've been to the high end ones too but only eat here if you are confident. Last thing you need is a runny tummy :)

Only few seats, this nice little place has the best roti. Very simple and cheap, but delicious and made fresh in front of you. Very good value, compared to overpriced restaurants.

This place is incredibly good at making rotis (filled fried thin bread). If you pass by Unawatuna on your way to something else or only have time to try one place out it should definitely be this one (unless you dislike roti that is). Everything they make is first class, even the drinks (for example a heavenly passion fruite juice)... More

Fresh, tasty and cheesy! I got the one with onion, tomatoes and cheese and it was sooo good and really cheap. Great option for breakfast, a light lunch or dinner, or even a snack!

There are not many local foods choice around the beach. Pay a small amount of money u can try the local original. The price is not cheap for local people, but definitely a reasonable price for foreign and near the beach. We ordered 4 roti and fired rice for dinner, the plate is small.Taste like pizza. Recommend: Mushroom olive cheese,... More

The roti you get for the price you pay is small, but there is a wider variety of Rotis one can choose from. The place is a small shack, well kept and run by a few people. The service is quick and food is clean. Parking can be an issue at times since the road is small.

Rs.250 for a thin roti with filling that is hardly a tablespoon is not worth going for again. also, my mushroom roti, i found that the mushroom was undercooked which made me sick. they say that the chocolate sauce is home made, but the ingredients seem dodgy because it is more like a paste.

Make sure you go to the original....there are a few around. Made to order & all ingredients prepared in clean surroundings. We had 4 different savory ones & unfortunately didn't get back for a sweet one. Highly recommend this place. Staff laid back& quiet but cool when strike up a conversation.
