A dining experience to remember!

I can’t even put into words how we felt when our wine and paired food tastings were set down in front of us. This spread was seriously impressive. We dined here for lunch as part of a private winery tour with Funny French Cars. We sat down to the Oak Stave Tasting Platter, a very special lunch... read more

We went here for lunch on the recommendation of the staff member at Chard Winery. Pretty view with the river and little bridge to cross to the winery, although the touristy signage was off putting. The building lacked atmosphere despite some large groups doing wine tasting. Waitress was pleasant enough but another back packer - would love to interact with... More

Stopped in to warm up after our jetboat ride - they do a good mulled wine, not many food choices, we got the pork belly on a slab of stone that was a little cold. The service was fast.

Had a fantastic platter and wine tasting here. Was incredible! Everyone so friendly and Pinot barrel cooked meats. Just amazing. Chef was so friendly.

It is rare to visit a restaurant in a winery that serves good food and tasty range of wine. I was really impressed by Wild Earth in this case. We found Wild Earth by chance on Entertainment Book. We were looking for somewhere to drive to from Queenstown for a breather. Yes, Queenstown can get suffocating if you lived here... More

We stopped here for lunch. We ipted for the wine tasting and four shared lunch options (all gluten free too). It was fantastic! Beautifully presented and great wine knowledge to match the wine to our chosen dishes.Highly recommended. You will not regret it ... hard to pick a favourite dish as all beautiful but the cheese dish was surprisingly good.

My favorite dining experience on the South Island thus far. Great hospitality and presentation/setting. Food was fresh, natural and tasty! We made our way through a good portion of the menu and there wasn't a single disappointment...everything was good! A bit expensive but well worth the splurge.

We went for a meal here, and I was surprised at what good value the main meals appeared to be. Until they turned up! Really, they're more Tapas-sized, so you need to order at least three between two people. But they were beautifully cooked. And the five wine tasters are well worth it. Best value was the cheese platter on... More

This restaurant and winery was recommended to us and we were so pleased that it was. The unique way that the food is smoked in the aged wine barrels makes for absolutely delicious flavours. We all loved our meals and also got to sample many of the wines and enjoyed them all. The location is stunning, on the banks of... More

My wife and I stopped here just by chance on our way to Twizel - but what an amazing place to stop. We were originally only going to have a coffee but having watched the chef cook venison patties over the specially designed wine barrel turned into a barbeque - we had to try one. We sat outside in the... More
