Refreshment

we stopped here for a drink after a 4 mile walk along the river. Staff were pleasant and cheery. Good choice of real ales, red wine was good and coffee hot and served with hot milk! Would have liked to have sampled the tasty and varied menu, but was wrong time of the day to do this, lovely views... read more

Lovely place and super staff. Food at a great price and was lovely. A wide selection of ciders, and enjoyed a relaxing drink by the roaring fie - What more can you ask for.

Service here was very good the hosts were friendly and made us feel welcome. It was very quiet in the pub, a few locals, a sign of a good pub, and a couple of visitors like us. At the end of October it must be the end of the season for them. Food was very good beautiful tender chicken with... More

On our recent vacation we visited this pub a few times (and others!) and this was, in our opinion, the best one in the area. Great British pub food and an interesting variety of pump beers, and when needed a roaring log fire. What set it apart from the other pubs in the area was the generous and humorous hospitality... We had a fantastic lunch here whilst on a day of canoeing down the river Wye. The menu choice was excellent and the quality of the food we were served was almost unbeatable. They also had an excellent choice of ales which was very welcome after a morning of hard canoeing. I will definitely be returning next time we are... More

Ye Old Ferrie Inn is well worth the ferry/walk from the other side. This pub offers proper comfort food at value for money prices. The setting is lovely and inviting.

Had a great evening with a river view from our table ... Good menu choice and excellent service even though it was a busy Saturday night plus the prices were very reasonable compared to other pubs in the area... Would definitely recommend

The chewiest steak I have had in my life. Made to feel unwelcome. Could only have a take out bottle at 10.00 pm. At 11.13 pm were asked to leave as we were too noisy and there had been complaints. We were a group of three adults, sat taking and laughing by the river. It should have been idyllic.
