We did enjoy our lunch sitting outside in the sunshine. The pub was very busy but coping well with the numbers and our good was lovely. Excellent range of real ale and ciders to choose from.

Had a drive out to Symonds Yat and took in lunch at the Saracens after a quick look on TA. Place was rammed, height of the season, but we managed to get a table outside and ordered food and drinks (separately) at the bar. 3 of us had excellent Fish & Chips! Huge portion, hot and fresh despite the crowds!... More

Please make sure of the standard for yourself as the chef has left and the new one is not as good and therefore some items were disappointing

If you stop in Symonds Yat then you have to eat here. The staff were nice and friendly service was great. Food was fantastic and well priced. Would go back again.

Having stayed here before for a few nights we were a little disappointed in some aspects of the snack lunch menu. Whilst prawn sandwich was OK the chicken and bacon baguette was rather disappointing. Expecting a piece of roast/grilled chicken and a rasher of bacon in a baguette the actual filling was very much like a spread from a tub... More

Stopped off for lunch on the way back from Monmouth. Excellent food as usual & brilliant selection of beers, ciders & Perry. Love eating here

Whilst slightly expensive, the food here cannot be faulted .My main was duck which just melted in the mouth. Totally delicious!! We visited for an anniversary and weren't disappointed. Will certainly return. The only fault was the rather grumpy barman who wasn't the most welcoming on our arrival.........

A bit pricey for us and not the basic stuff we wanted so we ended up just having chips but lovely spot!

Oh my god this place is in the most beautiful location.... i want to live here! The pub is right on the river side and the outside tables go up right next to it. There's a little ferry that will take you across the river for £1.50 per adult and 60p a child. 60p a bike. One of the waiters... More
