If you stop in Symonds Yat then you have to eat here. The staff were nice and friendly service was great. Food was fantastic and well priced. Would go back again.

Expecting a piece of roast/grilled chicken and a rasher of bacon in a baguette the actual filling was very much like a spread from a tub... More

Stopped off for lunch on the way back from Monmouth. Excellent food as usual & brilliant selection of beers, ciders & Perry. Love eating here

Whilst slightly expensive, the food here cannot be faulted .My main was duck which just melted in the mouth. Totally delicious!! We visited for an anniversary and weren't disappointed. Will certainly return. The only fault was the rather grumpy barman who wasn't the most welcoming on our arrival.........

Oh my god this place is in the most beautiful location.... i want to live here! The pub is right on the river side and the outside tables go up right next to it. There's a little ferry that will take you across the river for £1.50 per adult and 60p a child. 60p a bike. One of the waiters... More

This is probably the best, and undoubtedly the most popular, restaurant on the east side of the river. We tried to get in on a Tuesday at 6:30pm but it was fully-booked.. had to reserve a table for the following evening instead. It was heaving with customers all the time we were there. Lovely views across the river. You can dine... More

Visited just because it was on the riverside, dropped in for a drink only. Once seated with a decent bottle of wine, decided to eat. The Menu was a surprise, much more than could be expected from a busy Pub. A good choice of interesting and varied dishes. Dined al fresco on one of the best meals ever ! There... More
