Best Gin &Tonics EVER and good food.

The food here is really very very good. Duck with ginger sauce delicious, Provençal baked cod delicious, my veggie friend really enjoyed her crepes which were only 5 €! The setting alongside the Mar Menor is lovely, service was pleasant but a bit slow. Really wonderful chicken liver parfait as a... read more

We had dinner here twice during June 2015, both times with our kids, once with another family as well. The food is excellent: seversl steps above the norm at Tomas Maestre / La Manga. I had the entrecôte and the duck confit, my wife fell in love with the tuna tataki (mind the wasabi - it's lethal). All three were... More

A party of six golfers, on holiday at La Manga, decided to eat here, as it had been recommended. We had booked a table, which is advisable in the high season. The restaurant is right on the front, overlooking the Mar Menor. We were given a dish of olives and also some delicious pate with bread. Excellent. I chose the... More

Booked to get in just as well as place was packed when others on the strip were empty(that tells you something) There was 18 of us so a table of 14 and 4 was set up as inside had a party of 20. Our meals were ordered and we did have a slight wait for our food due to it... More

This is one of our regulars, we always visit some 4 or 5 restaurants but Sugar and Spice always gets at least 2 visits from us. Geraldine is as welcoming as always and the dining style suits us as we like to have a leisurely meal and have time to talk, we usually arrive at 9 and leave around 12... More

La Manga is one our favourite haunts and this restaurant down by the marina is excellent. We have eaten here every time we visit. Good choice of dishes from spicey, Thai and traditional European food. One of the best places for a really well cooked steak with what for me is one of the best pepper sauces I have ever... More

We are back on the strip and back again to one of our favourite places to eat. The place fills up very quickly --we booked. Lovely setting, great service from Smiley, lovely food and a good wine menu, the house wine is very acceptable and a good price. We will be back and would recommend.

Food so good can't get better anywhere the owner is so welcoming she knows everybody walking through her door. Look along row of restaurants and hers has the most people in that tells you everything

I am hungry again when I am just thinking about our dinner in this restaurant! They have very interesting menu - so everybody can choose. There are French Crepes but also typical food from La Manga region. Moreover, they have DELICIOUS deserts. I am always very hungry so I really appreciate that their service was very fast. This restaurant is... More

We returned to Sugar & Spice for dinner last week and very much enjoyed our visit. The menu is varied and interesting and different from many of the other restaurants in the area. The established choices of savoury and sweet crepes is still available along with a good choice of other main meal options and specials. Bread and pate and... More
