It's all about the view

Cap Roig is the place to have lunch or dinner if it's not dark. The views are spectacular and the food is good but not great. The bill however was great! It's worth a visit but stay away from Lobster as they know how to charge. There are far better restaurants in Mahon but few have the vista.

The reviews on TripAdvisor were enough for us to want to visit Cap Roig and see for ourselves, however the reports of high prices did make us dither. We were driving near Mahon one evening and were all hungry so decided that we would indeed head out there for a meal. The restaurant looked modern from the outside, we studied... More

A must for any visitors to Menorca. The best lobsters ever, fabulous seafood and the most wonderful sea views. All our summer visitors have loved it and always ask to return.

View over the sea is unbeatable, but food is quite average, don't go with too high expectations or may get disappointed.

We loved the new outdoor eating area, sadly this was unavailable on our second visit because of the rather windy conditions. This restaurant is extremely popular amongst the locals, especially for Sunday lunch. The fish was sparklingly fresh, service very attentive and the whole dining experience had the wow factor.

What a spot for daytime dining (especially outside). Great views from the cliff top. Enthusiastic staff. Good GnT's. I kept it simple with seabass & chips, but wow the seabass was huge & easy off the bone. Lovely desserts to boot. Not quite the same in the evening as the place is very quiet, compared to the busy lunchtime diners.

We were taken to this restaurant by friends who have been visiting the island for the past 30 years. The view is breath taking and the atmosphere very welcoming. I personally love fish and the loup de mer we chose was cooked to perfection. Also the "Gambas al ajillo", i.e. prawns cooked in a garlic sauce were delicious as was... More

The view is just spectacular! The sea food is great too! Truly a place to recommend! The newly renovated terrace is were you should be sitting, a lovely wind breeze cools one down!

We arrived around 8.00pm on a monday evening after a long day on the beach and took our chances on getting a table for 8. We were welcomed and and given a spectacular table with views out to mesquida beach. The seafood was excellent and the wine matched perfectly. It was such a treat and a great evening. Thank you... I visited here with my wife this year during our holiday. Location is very spectacular. Sea views from every seat in the restaurant. We were sat in the lower level which I would say was not quite as good as upstairs. The reason being that it has perspex roller windows which they obviously open (when the wind permits) to make...
