This family run tapas bar is always busy and with justification. Excellent tapas, generous portions and a very reasonable price. Oh and the view and sunsets are great too.

Visited after a recommendation and were not disappointed. Excellent tapas and friendly staff. My wide doesn't enjoy fish as much as I do but she was well catered for. We made a 2nd visit, early on a Friday night and the owner fitted us in although practically every table was reserved. Good value, excellent food and drink.

After reading reviews on Trip we visited this restaurant and were not disappointed. Went 4 times and enjoyed every meal !There is a good choice of tapas.Sadly my husband cannot eat fish so we had to mostly stick to salads and meats. There are a lot of fish tapas on the menu and they looked very interesting. The wines are... More

We found this restaurant by accident and I am so glad we did. We were on a day trip to Mahon for my wife's birthday and she wanted tapas. The food here was really great and the service by the owners was brilliant. We had a selection of 5 dishes all of which were really tasty, the white bean &... More

We were recommended to try this restaurant by our friend and when we managed to get there we were not disappointed. The chicken wings were scrummy as were the meatballs mmmmm makes me hungry just thinking about it. Definately worth a try and if you can sit outside the views are beautiful.

Very keen to try the tapas here, as it looked authentic and freshly home-cooked, great variety, including snails - which I regret not having now. We went for a late sitting after a very long day, and not sure we saw the service at its best. A bit peremptory, though they were quite busy. Also, we were a bit English... More

We were determined to visit Sa Taverna d'es Port having seen the range of tapas available as we strolled by from our hotel to Mahon several times during the week. We eventually made it in the middle of our holiday and how glad we were. There was a friendly welcome from the owner who was very helpful on our choice... More

We love this little restaurant, it is nearly always full in season - so make sure you get your name down - then go for a walk along the marina. It is well worth a wait. Great selection of all the traditional spanish tapas dishes, cooked to perfection!

We absolutely love this Tapas restaurant (near the floating restaurant in Mahon), and so does everyone we take there. It's also extremely popular with locals, which is always a good sign, and they open all year round. The restaurant opens on an afternoon for lunches from 1 I think and on an evening from 8. It's not huge so booking... More
