Very good food and friendly service. The young waiter and waitress made up for my lack of Italian and helped us though the menu. I particularly liked the idea of selecting your wine from the cellar, a very nice touch.

We have left this restaurant for our last diner before our departure from Anghiari. It was a really nice and pleasant final of our great one week stay in Anghiari. We had a great selection of bruscettas as a starter. For main dish we had tagliata with potatotes with truffles and parmasan - delicious, fresh pasta with truffles - great,... More

This was a good restaurant, good food (a bit cold by the time it had all arrived) and good value, however when we had the chance to go back to the two restaurants we had eaten in Anghiari a second time we chose Da Alighiero

We had delicious food, a great setting, lovely wine and brilliant staff. The waiters were so helpful, helping us find a taxi back to our remote villa, and laughed with us about our friend making a reservation under the name James Bond and helped us improve our Italian. The ravioli with porcini mushrooms is grand!

No surprise that this is down as Anghiari's best restaurant, firstly as there is not much competition, but also becuase it really is one of the nicest around. Food mostly local dishes, as is usual (don't look for "spaghetti bolognese") so all excellent quality, and also wide choice of wines. Staff very friendly and some English spoken. The bread given... One of the best restaurant we have tested during our 3 weeks trip in Toscania. The restaurant is in the medieval historical center of Anghiari. Climbing up there is really worth the effort. The service is very good, the food is very very good, the decoration is very nice, ... 0 default. They announce and really serve fresh (and tasty)... More

Would rate close to 3.5 stars. The location is outstanding and I loved the medieval alleyways, though the town was quite quiet and nothing else was open except for a few cafes and bars. I really liked the idea of a cantina to pick one's wine, and we chose a delicious Sangiovese for 14E. The ambience is charming and decorative;... More

Our party of four adults dined here twice during our 8 days in Anghiari. The food and the hospitality was fabulous. We chose this venue for our last evening in Anghiari and it did not disappoint. We were seated on the semi-private balcony overlooking one of Anghiari's scenic walkways. We selected wine from the house cellar to celebrate the birthday... More

Anghiari is a gem of a small Middle Age town near Arezzo and we arrived there almost by chance on a Sunday after the 'Coppa della Perugina' classic-cars meeting in Perugia and a long visit of the wonderful Museum of Alberto Burri in nearby Città di Castello. TripAdvisor reviewers wrote good things of 'Il Feudo del Vicario' and, even if... More

We traveled from Montepulciano to Anghiari to meet a friend driving from Forli (after flying from Paris) for lunch on Sunday, Oct. 20. The staff could not have been more welcoming and happy to make our occasion very special and warm. The service was so friendly and supportive. While we didn't ask for vodka (see silly review below), my wife... More
