Amazingly delicious and so much food!

If you like to eat what is served to you without having to order, try this wonderful place. Various antipasti, primi, vegetables, meat and dessert (if you have room) will be served to you , along with wine - red or white. The experience of staying at Rifugio Gorropu exceeded my expectations. The owners were incredibly warm and welcoming despite the fact that I speak (very) limited Italian, even inviting us to a family gathering and providing food and wine on Sunday when the restaurant was closed. The accommodation was clean and cozy and all appliances were modern. The room was cleaned... More

We went to the restaurant last week by recommendation and were absolutely surprised. The food was great and the service super nice with us not speaking italian at all. Would highly recommend this place.

Thank you Rifugio Gorropu for a magical and delicious week! For those thinking of visiting - do it! This is not a 5 star hotel and you won't find satin sheets, steam rooms and canine grooming salons here. What you will find are happy, genuinely welcoming people, views from your room which make your eyes want to expand and tasty... More

A set menu with a bit of wiggle room for 30 euro each included a starter, bread, wine, pasta course, meat course, dessert and coffee. The service was brilliant, our waitress was very attentive and adapted the menu slightly to suit us. The setting is beautiful, overlooking the mountainous region around Dorgali and the restaurant was very easy to find.... More

We had a look at sereral agriturismo restaurants during our stay in sardegna and this one was the best of them all. It manages to keep the charm of a family run enterprise, but still the apperance of the whole place, the service and the quality of the food is outstanding and professional. They have a very nice terrace and... More

The restaurant is not easy to reach. it is on a road which goes to the guappo canyon, and I recommend going to that restaurant if you are coming back from a trek in the canyon. They served us amazing typical sardinian dishes which were delicious and fresh.

Warm people, great food and wine and beautiful nature. Be sure you make a reservation for Saturday dinner in time, since you may be left without the unique experience of enjoying the atmosphere of the loud trattoria out in the hills! If you do not make it, go at least for the antipasti and wine. Breakfast is well above the... More

Although Sardinia has some of the most astonishingly beautiful coastlines in the world, travelers must make time to explore its mountainous, bucolic interior abounding with vineyards, olive groves, fig trees, hilly vistas as far as the eye can see, and, more importantly, absolute peace and quiet. Agriturismo Rifugio Gorropu, with its proximity to the amazing coves Cala Gonone, but also... More
