Nice location and good food but not oustanding. Prices are higher than in a normal Italian restaurant. The expected outstanding result was missing. Tables are close to the next one so not really romantic.

My personal experience was excellent we approach the restaurant from the wrong side so it took is a bit to find it . It was a rainy day and we went for a late lunch . Place was busy but our waiter brought us water immediately and some really delicious bread with olives. Fried alici were delicious as well as... More

After receiving high recommendations on TA and elsewhere, we were stunned by the poor experience of dining at Lost Time. The zucchini flowers stuffed with cheese were heavy, the pasta with asparagus was bland, and the roast sucking pig was gristly and tasteless. The wine list is long but very expensive. Probably the worst meal we had in Italy and... More

We have visited 3 times now and always enjoyed the food very much. A new dish this most recent visit, grano I tartufo nero - farro grain, an ancient variety, with slices of fresh black truffle. If enough of you (at least 8) book in advance for a traditional taster meal of antipasti, 2 pasta dishes, 2 meat dishes and... More

this place serves decent food, but is clearly frequented mainly by tourists, which is reflected in the service (a bit routine) and the prices (fairly high for puglia). the location in the old town is great, with great views around, and some nice looking bars nearby.

arrived last week at 7:30 pm and were given the worst cold shoulder that I have ever received in a restaurant, they couldn't be bothered to do anything for us and just stood around chatting, after 15min left, never to return, avoid.

Have eaten here more than once and enjoyed. The restaurant is hewn out of natural rock and creates a unique atmosphere. The food is usually very good. Not a cheap option and you have to walk almost to the top of the old town but worth it for something a bit special. Would recommend it for a lovely dining experience.

We initially tried Piazzetta Cattedrale but they were a bit sniffy and offered us a small table for 4 to seat our party of 5. We left and came here instead. The service was very good - they were used to dealing with British and American tourists - and this if anything was the main fault, that it was full... More

Tucked away, this restaurant is like a cave inside. Upmarket and more expensive than others we ate in but the food was excellent. Lots of meat on the menu here whexcess not always the case in this area. Generous portions and good service. We thoroughly enjoyed it.

We stayed in La Sommita, so this Osteria was only a short walk away. It has a very warm ambiance- friendly service, helpful attention and excellent anti-pasti- we selected the house selection- buck wheat risotto with truffle, funghi de bosci stewed in a pot, wonderful ham and salami, souffle, aubergine and cheese, and probably several others which I don't recall....
