Good for grilled meat

Lovely atmosphere in vaulted rooms. Specialised in grilled meats that were cooked over a flame in an open kitchen. The vegetable anti pasti where good too. With the open kitchen and grill it was quite warm in there though.

Repeat visit and didn't disappoint. Food is excellent and lovely ambience. Family feel and friendly service. Local wine delicious and even a 60's soundtrack.

Found this by chance and I'm sure we will be back. First come first served, opens at 730pm. Some lovely grandma's making food for you fresh is a pleasure to watch and eat. Traditional pasta and the meats were all great. Smallish menu but all executed well. Even though in tourist area its tucked away on a side street and... More

This was a great little find. The vaulted interior with its nooks and crannies was enchanting. It's got a lovely welcoming feel and I can imagine in the colder months it would be even better. We visited when the weather was unseasonably hot so it was warm in there despite the fans but this didn't spoil the experience. We had... More

Tucked in a small alley in Ostuni’s centro storico. The restaurant has a very nice and rustic atmosphere. You can sit in the back and watch how they’re preparing the pasta. The food was very good, especially the orechiette which were made to perfection. The staff was very nice and we even had the pleasure of having a short conversation... More

Having spent a week traveling through Puglia, I can say hand on heart that this restaurant was by far the best I ate at. The restaurant is tucked down an alleyway (that just so happened to be where my apartment was - I 7 Archi). You go down some stairs into this delightful family run restaurant. The menu is simple... We enjoyed our simple meals so much that on our next evening in Ostuni we went back again. This is not a fine dining restaurant. What it is, is a family run gem that offers limited choice but does what it does brilliantly well. On our first visit my husband chose pasta and I had wonderfully tender lamb cutlets with... More

Loved the food and the atmosphere. Open kitchen with what seemed like generations of the same family. Loved the vegetable antipasti. Highly recommend, felt very authentic.

After two nights of disappointing food in Puglia we found this purely by luck. It is a very pretty restaurant, like a series of indoor caves, but prettily done and well lit. We had a lovely table, with lots of space and it was fantastic to see so many Italians eating here. They don't pander to tourists so you need... More

If you wish for traditional Puglian food then this is the place. Very small handwritten menu adds to the charm. The best course is the antipasto platter - which is varied and tasty. Main course is very rustic and limited with plentiful scallop potatoes and choice of grilled meats. Only 3 choices for dessert - the pannecota is recommended. Limited... More
