Just a five minute walk from our rented apartment, Caffe Cavour serves dishes simply but with elegance. Don't look for over seasoned food here. It is made with local simple ingredients. If you're there on the weekend, make a reservation and ask for what is "off the menu". If you speak English, you will most likely be served by the... More

I can't comment on food because went there for a hot chocolate and pastry. Server was delightfully pleasant. Cafe was empty on December 24th at 3:30 PM. Hot chocolate was reasonable but the chocolate tart was really bad. It was hard, and tasteless. However at 4 Euro for the tart and 5 Euro for two cups of hot chocolate it... More

We stumbled upon this restaurant one hot afternoon on a trip to Ostuni in July this year, it is deceiving from the outside, it looks like any other little restaurant, but as we were led through and down the steps into the Cave, we discovered a real gem!!! The staff & the owner were so friendly & knowledgeable about the... More

This was our 3rd day in Ostuni so after visiting 6 restaurants we can make the statement that this restaurant is the best. The owner/chef knows what he's doing and cares about his clients (as well tourists as locals). Don't expect mixed antipasti that show the region but go for dishes with a real soul. We first had octopus and... More

What do you get if you combine a talented chef who values his fresh local ingredients but wants to step outside the lines of traditional dishes, a charming old below ground olive mill repurposed as a restaurant, and the passion and motivation that is only found in a family run restaurant? Turns out you get an excellent dining experience in... More

With a street-level bar and pleasant basement restaurant this is a popular venue for cocktails or a meal.We were lucky to get a table late at night and were warned that service would be slow (it was!) in the crowded ,but smallish restaurant. Everyone was friendly, however, and the atmosphere was all bustling local clientele. Food was of a high... More

The location in the heart of Ostuni is very handy, with the restaurant having a lovely interior that surprises you when you enter. The service was great, explanations of all your dishes are provided, with the food being very good quality too. Highly recommended.
