Unusual setting

Had a great meal here. The setting is amazing. The restaurant is almost in town centre, yet when inside you realise it was once a cave used for olive oil making. We were lured to this place by the prospect of getting unbelievable food in an usual setting. Well, we found neither. For a start, on our way to this restaurant we passed through really unique and cool places, full of people, emanating mouth-watering fumes and occupying breathtaking vistas. So, we broke rule #1 in selecting the restaurant "Never Go to... More

The food was really good, tasty and fresh. Great location, nice ambiance and the staff were very friendly and helpful explaining me & ensuring we selected best appetisers and pasta dishes to share. The ravioli as well as the orecchiette anchovie pasta were a taste sensation. The truffle artichoke as well as salmon were also great, not one bad dish... More

Great food in a subterranean cave. Enjoy the balmy evening with a drink somewhere else before or after (or both), but come here for the excellent food and very knowledgeable staff.

Came here for dinner on a Friday and was seated almost immediately even without having reservations. The dining room is in a cavern like atmosphere. Very well decorated and romantically lit. Waiters and staff are cordial. Service was rather slow. For starters we had a plate of warm seafood, nicely presented and taste good. Also had cime di rape that... More

Spent the evening here after reading good reviews, only us and another table but hey it's a Tuesday night and still in low season here, enjoyed the pasta primi immensely, fish secondi was a bit limited choice but cooked well and the bombetti secondi was a bit dry and tasteless, deserts very nice, overall meal was expensive for the quality... We were recommended this restaurant by the owner of our accomodation at Casa Terre Mare ( an outstanding house to rent in Ostuni)! We were impressed as soon as we entered the restaurant. The prettiest place I have ever eaten in.The service was impeccable, so kind and quiet and unintrusive. The food was Devine, and wine selection was fab too,... More

A beautiful town in Puglia, and without a doubt its best restaurant. Home-cured salmon carpaccio followed by the most extraordinary (real) caviar tagliolini. An amazing meal!

Fresh local produce cooked with love and talent. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable about their wonderful food and wine. Would love to have returned but they closed for holidays day after we discovered it!

I went to this restaurant with a friend who lives in Ostuni who highly recommended it. It didn't disappoint. The restaurant is in to parts, you enter into the bar area where you can dine, but this leads through to a spectacular rock cavern which is the main part of the restaurant. The menu was not huge, but the choice... More
