Sekt in the tent

We treated ourselves to a glass of Sekt each on our recent visit to Esslingen. It was Sunday so only the tent was open but the staff were happy to advise on what would suit our varied palettes. Their recommendations were spot on; we went back next morning to by a bottle of each of the three we had... read more

A group of 4 of us visited Kessler and spent a couple of hours trying several different kinds of sparkling wine and cocktails. I always prefer hard liquor and/or cocktails to wine, so the history and reputation of the cellar was a bit lost on me. If you're a huge wine aficionado, you'll likely love this place. The server at... More

My husband and I went randomly during the day and saw everyone on the outdoor patio enjoying a glass of Sekt. We had to take part. We ended up being there for a couple hours enjoying the people and a couple glasses of Sekt. Worth another trip. Enjoy!

The oldest champagne cellar in Germany. Always full with a special charming atmosphere, you can hang out in the bar, have a private wine tasting session or visit the historical cellar. Perfect to drop by around brunch and have a glass of rose champagne.

Visiting Kessler was amazing. I had never heard of it. This is a champagne bar, there are at least 10-15 different types to choose from, ordering in glasses or by the bottle. There are gift bottles in tins or wood crates if your traveling that are well packed. We drank 4 bottles while there, sat on the couches, talked to... More

I did a wine tasting with a group of friends. We all enjoyed it, and most of us bought a bottle or two. The staff were pleasant and spoke English. They had about 9 different Sekt (sparking wine) to pick from. The small glasses of wine to sample was between 3 euro-4 euro. There is a bar to stand at... More

In the premises of the oldest German sparkling wine cellars you find a bar that serves the original Kessler sparkling wine. It is a nice bar with a very modern ambience and the possibility to take a drink in a cousy court outside. No meals are served
