Great location and food

November with the sun shining and the sound of the waves crashing what a place to enjoy a lunch time meal. Sitting at the table looking across to Spain, with a lovely plate of food and a glass of local wine, what could be better. Great place and food, very busy.

Le Belharra was pretty much the only restaurant open this evening, luckily for us the location was awesome, right alongside the breaking waves and with heaters outside so it was really comfortable. Service was pretty cold but efficient, me and my partner boyfriend both had a steak and a beer and it was very tasty. €50 all up, so pretty... More

We took a table outside for lunch early October in shorts and t-shirts watching paddle boarders go by. The views are spectacular, all the way to the Spanish coastline. We chose from the fixed price lunch menus which offered an excellent choice of dishes at reasonable prices.

4.5 stars / circles really. The service was good and they made up a pitcher (pichet) of Caiparinha (probably spelt wrong but who cares, after the jug is empty?). It's a great location for a stroll along the beach and then back, for a snack or drink. The only reason I docked half a mark is that it was quite... More

This cafe has a good view of the ocean, it is good to sit outside and watch the sun go down as you eat. Plenty of seats inside and outside. We had pizza which was good. The cafe is also good value for money.

As a person with a lot of diet restrictions it can be quite hard eating out especially in a foreign country where it can be hard to find what I can eat. This restaurant has a set menu (23.90 euros for 3 courses) with a good range of options and each of the three dishes I had were delicious and... More

It is located by the ocean, you can see the sunset from the restaurant. The food is absolutely delicious, so it is worth the high price. The staff is very friendly and prompt. I think there were 4 or 5 waiters who catered for us, asking if we need anything else, and making sure we were feeling good (this didn't... More

We have had some wonderful meals in Hossegor and Capbreton and just could not believe we could find another amazing restaurant. The ambience, service and food is unbelievable - and a wonderful position overlooking the ocean and the port of Capbreton. We had suggestion of the day - Parillada - absolutely fantastic.

I stopped at this outstanding cafe/restaurant on 9th March for a cup of tea with my wife. Absolutely magnificent is the only way I can describe the decor and quality of the furniture. The staff were very accommodating too. The presentation was exceptional and the location right on the beach was unbeatable. However, one has to pay a heavy price... More

You don't eat views you soak them in and yes they're stunning. The duck was tough and the mussels required some steroids as they were tiny. You pay for views and food but both should be of the same standard and they are not unfortunately. A little over priced due to this problem, if they balance the food and view... More
