We visited Le Bonheur after a trip to the Belgian seaside and were nicely surprised by the fresh Filet de Sole that was cooked to perfection and accompanied by crisp potatoes baked in butter and herbs. Hello! During our stay at the Belgian coast we booked that restaurant as all the other "wanted" restaurants were fully booked! We were a little disappointed by the slow service. The waiter/server was the only person (but the cooks) and had to manage the orders, the service, the check-out, etc... He was doing his best but obviously could not coordinate... More

Perhaps the best place to eat in Damme. From start to finish, this was a meal to remember cooked with flair, precision and a love of the raw ingredients. This restaurant is located in a quaint Belgian town of Damme. It sits just off to the side of the market square along the cobbled street. It is cosy and intimate and the menu is delicious.
