Mixed feelings

We had a 5-course diner. 2 starters, a main dish and 2 desserts. Both starters were nicely presented and original in taste. Also the mail dish was ok. Both desserts seemed a bit copu paste, both chocolate mousses with fruit. The quality of the food is very good. A pity that only one glas of white... read more

The service is not that friendly but very Profesional... We are in the Flanders side so not much more to expect. The food is amazing! The best restaurant from the various I have been. Do not know how expensive since both times did not pay but it must be really expensive. Wine selection really good. If you have the money... More

What do you expect from a restaurant that receives a coveted Michelin star ?Of course faultless food. Excellent service. And, is it asking too much, even value for money. Michel just scrapes by. Negatives first. The attractive terrace is somewhat spoiled by the noise from the nearby motorway. The service, from some of the staff, can be somewhat "heavy " . You... More

We tried this restaurant during Resto days to celebrate a family event. Some of our family members had never been to a Michelin star restaurant before and that was a great opportunity to get an introduction. The overall setting is nice, a bit plain but with a touch of sophistication. The food was good: fair size plates, interesting flavour combinations,... More

Quit location with terras in the summer. Enough space between the tables. Traditional food but very well prepared and all fres, with some new try outs during the appetizers. Professional and frendly service. Also nice wine chart(tablet) but ask the sommelier for the ones which are not on the list. For dessert try the home made vanila ice, or even... More

For years already a place of good value. Nice appetizers before the two 'entrées' and a lot of sweets with the coffees. All courses are nicely presented and the preparation is correct. But don't expect explosions of flavours or refined dishes. What you get is correct and fresh, but one could do with some more surprising combinations. The staff is... More

I went for lunch. The restaurant is in a very nice building and in a sunny day the patio has to be lovely, but when I went it was raining... Interiors are a bit tacky, with golden columns and appareils + chairs with optical fabric. Service is competent and very professional, they are so nice that they leave you a... More

We had a wonderful meal here with some friends who live near by. Frankly, we were a little apprehensive about going to Michel becasue we had read mixed reviews on Trip Advisor. But our meal was superb and the wines that were suggested went really well with our dinner. We would definitely go back the next time we are in... More

We went to this restaurant for the restaurant week promotion in Belgium and therefore had a set menu at a reasonable price of 37 euros each. Considering this is a starred restaurant this was quite an undestinguished meal, with no evidence of great flavours or imagination in cooking although nothing we had was bad, just ok. We had a homemade... More

Well deserves it one star Michelin for an acceptable price. Food is traditional French with excellent ingredients and many times presented in the old fashioned way (for sure take the pheasant during the season or the fresh strawberries with vanilla ice-cream). Service is excellent as well. Decor is traditional (maybe a bit too traditional). On the outskirts of Brussels and... More
