good authentic food for a non vegetarian!

We had some amazing black pork curry and which was out of the world with some amazing local roti/chapati. the mutton curry to top it all was just blissful. I also bought some pork pickle which still brings back the tastes of coorg.

Loved the fact that on first impressions it doesn't jump out as a very great place but once the food arrived, it swatted away any such doubts. Fantastic Pork dishes and local twist on lime juice. Best part is they offer a pork pickle for just Rs. 300 (500 ml as per their menu card)

This place is a good one for Coorgi dishes. The service is quick. Food is tasty and the akhi roti was especially good.

The place is not fancy. Ambiance and setting is ordinary. Food is really good and reasonably priced. I wasn't a great fan of akki roti but had to take it since there wasn't any other Indian bread available. I actually loved it. Fresh, hot and tasty. The Coorg pork pandi curry was delicious. So also with their pork fry and chicken... More

Food served in traditional Coffee (or tea) Estates and prepared by local cooks coached by their "boss" too use just a touch of Chili will use the produce of the estate, spices of all sorts and prepare the most tasty meals; great diversity of dishes and recipies! Freshly picked local fruits are heavenly too!!

Limited menu, fast service and good corgi food. Must eat the pandi ( pork) in any form. Choice can be a little limited though since there Is no dal etc. to eat with the rice.

It was around 4 in the evening when we decided to go to a place that served authentic Coorgi food. We were really hungry and on asking locals we ended up at this place. We were starving and quickly ordered what we thought Coorg food was all about - Pork. I am a vegetarian and 3 of my friends were... More

Want to titillate your taste buds yearning for local authenticity? Then stop right here! You will love it if you are adventurous and have no food restrictions! Eat their signature pork dishes. We had 3 of them and couldn't have enough! Only problem was that there was no English speaking person there and we were saved by the fact that... More
