Tasty food

We missed their lunch....so went later for dinner. Tried the Nool Puttu (Iddiyapam) and Veg Koot Curry.....turned out to be a scrumptious affair.

This is the first place we visited in Madikeri, as our cab driver took us there when we asked him for local food. It's a small, no-nonsense place that is terribly understaffed, which means every dish you get is a reward for your enduring patience. The same two people serve, take orders, prepare bills and, I suspect, cool (though I... More

The restaurant seems quite basic but what amazing food. We had the pandhi curry with bamboo shoots, koot curry and rice. Finger licking good.I really wanted to try some of the coffees on their menu, but sadly they were out of those

We had pork and Bamboo shoot curry. Liked it. Tried their Passion fruit juice, it was outstanding!. In fact, they win hearts with juices than pork. Overall a nice place to visit, given the limited choice of eating places in the small little town Madikeri!

Pork dishes of Coorg are very famous. But surprisingly, we could not find it anywhere except this restaurant. The restaurant was average types. Most pork dishes were too sour. We loved the juices- honey lemon and passion fruit with honey best.

Went around Plantation visit and lunch too. Able to go around a coffee plantation estate of around 25 acres with a great Coorgie lunch.

A place with a lot of potential, but a disappointment. Looks unhygenic. Waiters look unclean. messy wash basin area. Location, view is good. Food is okay. clearly overated. But then this is the only place in madikeri serving local food.

Went there to take a parcel. Limited choice of good veg food. Was staying at Club Mahindra. Food is enough to sustain enjoying rest of Madikere, DO not expect gourmet stuff or excellent tasting food.

the place smells a bit tried the much taunted pandi curry and the bamboo shoot curry. both did not live up to the expectation. the kuru or bean curry and the ghee rice were good. the waiters did not seem to know the concept of service with a smile....
