Very good. Would highly recommend.

It was a quiet Wednesday lunch time and we had 2 club steak and onion sandwiches which were very nice. Included were huge triple cooked chips which were gorgeous (there seemed to be a lovely seasoning on them - crispy and superb) and a few rocket leaves, which I thought were mainly for decoration... read more

Very good, small menu - lovely staff. Not cheap, but not expensive, either. The pies are particularly delicious.

Fine food, good service. They even served us coffee when we needed it early in the morning after a walk before opening time.

Arrived for suday lunch , ordered sirloin beef x 4 presentation looked really good but that's where it stopped beef was thin and chewy the only potatoes (roasted) x2 were rock solid and freezer burnt, no additional gravy, one medium sized bowl of poor vegetables between 4 and the food was luke warm at best and @ 12.95 per head,... We found this place by following our nose and a recommendation from our camp site - teepee village. The lanes are narrow and the village small but the pub makes up for that in quality food. This was a bank holiday Sunday night and we were earlish (about 7pm). The service was great and the food was really good. I... More

Appears to be a normal pub set in amongst a residential area, however inside, great bar staff, polite and professional. Excellent service and fantastic food . Right down to good quality serviettes . I had a 'swan' burger in a tomato foccia type by a nd chips served on a board in a contemporary way. Nothing was too much trouble.

Want to finish a good day out? Try The White Swan at Llanfrynach! Beautiful public house within the Brecon Beacons national park. The food is excellent, service superb. Sunday lunch is brilliant. Wine list is pretty good. Always friendly staff. This place is a great end to a good day out, maybe walking, maybe on the local canal. If you... More

Been a long time since we last visited, given the numerous changes in ownerships and mixed reviews here. However, popped in for lunch yesterday and it was very nice indeed. The menu was quite short and it was very disappointing that no starters were available, however our monkfish scampi and chicken kiev dishes were delicious and excellent value for money... More

This is not the White Swan as we remembered and loved. The bar and restaurant lacked atmosphere. The welcome was cordial. The menu very disappointing. No starters, overpriced 'pub grub' mains and a 'choice' of 3 desserts. The food was ok - a mixed bag of reactions from around the table but generally, we were disappointed. This is not gastro... Good location close to many outdoor activities. Real ales a plus and the food was excellent - I had the pork belly which was slow cooked to perfection. Others in our party had steak and were well pleased too. Friendly and efficient staff. Definitely a place to visit again. Only downside was they had what sounded like an excellent band... More
