Warm and spacious venue. Great friendly and attentive service. Delicious food. Best pork belly Ive had. Very generous portions for main course. Still didnt want the meal to finish though. Cream and mash with the pork dish was divine!

Wonderful service, quiet and homely atmosphere and the food was out of this world. I had the venison from the menu and my partner was fortunate enough to get the special - lamb shank off the bone. Both were cooked to perfection, and finished off with a couple of delicious cocktails. The service throughout was impeccable, and well worth the... More

Service was very friendly and once seated we were intrigued straight away by opening the menu onto the first page... cocktails! Breads, warm and fresh with smooth pâté and sun dried tomato pesto. This was quickly delivered and swiftly followed by the mains. Beautifully presented and flavourful food, it was more than we expected. To complete the evening a delicious... More

We really enjoyed our meal here and were very impressed by the food. I so enjoyed each course and the service was fantastic. Was very sad to learn the present owners have sold but delighted they will be staying on staff for the transition and longer.

Great place , great people, amazing food, excellent service and remarkable value for money. The ambiance created in a old village house is spectacular. Mike and Helen are the kind of hosts Hanmer Springs needs a lot more. The creativity from Mike remains exceptional and quality of the dishes is surpassing all excpectations. Thank you

I had booked us in to No 31 purely based on TripAdvisor advice and ratings. It sounded too good to be true, but I was pretty confident the meal would be very good anyway! I made a reservation a few months ahead from Sydney. As the restaurant was around the corner from where we were staying (The Settlers Motel) I... More

Exceptional steak - easily cut with a butter knife. My hubby said it was one of the best steaks he's ever had. Tiramisu also excellent. Broccoli with almond butter delish. Duck overly sweet - I didn't care for the glaze at all. Coconut rice cake that it came with was good though.
