I went to Hanmer Springs 4 times so far and I always go back to this little cafe. I love the breakfast choices, everything is always fresh and also they have organic-vegan-gluten free options good thing! nice coffee and smiley service.

This was a very nice small but popular cafe recommended to us by a local and it was good advice. Coffee was great and the kedgeree I had for lunch was excellent.

With a fairly small indoor area the place was full and warm on a cold winters morning. Service was quick and efficient. The kids loved the two part children's breakfast. First was a juice and a paper bag with chips, biscuits, popcorn and a couple of lollies. Later came the hot rissole, fruit, maple syrup and bacon. For the adults... More

We went here for brunch after being recommended by a friend and we were not disappointed. The staff were pleasant and the cafe was nicely appointed with local art. There is not much room and when we came back the second day for breakfast there was a massive queue so be prepared to wait as it is a popular cafe... More

We came here for lunch two days in a row as the first time was so good! Enjoyed the corn fritters & the burger. Great coffee. Fully recommend.

Definitely an excellent brunch spot. Some more unusual items appear on the menu for the brave - porridge with a kick of whisky for example, or a Mexican bean based dish. We really loved the food here - and took away some of the wonderful baking to be found in the display cabinet. Slightly off the main street, but definitely... More

Had a good time there. Order the Mexican breakfast for something different! Great coffee. Very friendly staff and nice cost place.

Powerhouse has everything you'd expect on a breakfast menu- but all with their own twist and flavour. We went with a group of 6 and all loved our choices. It was super busy, but staff were calm, friendly and helpful- and the wait was minimal considering the cafe was packed inside and out.
