Nice coffee but Caesar Salad overpriced

Paying $24.00 for a Chicken Caesar Salad I guess I was expecting something spectacular - which unfortunately it wasn't - Croutons were a bit soft-ish while the chicken breast was slightly dry - actually I mistook each of them for each other sometimes! Lacked flavour as well - good thing though it... read more

We had breakfast at the Powerhouse Cafe. The food was good but there is a bird problem. We moved table due to the bird droppings which seemed to be everywhere. Unfortunately, food is left on empty tables too long which only encourages the birds.

Called in for lunch on a beautiful sunny day. The Powerhouse is right in town near the thermal springs and is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. They have a few inside tables and two nice courtyards with tables on offer in both the sun and shade. Very good casual cafe dining with plenty of choice and gluten free and... More

Powerhouse has the advantage of being one of the few places open before 9am. Coffee was good and the two brekkies ordered were tasty and substantial. It did seem to be a bit disorganised, and apparently something as simple as soy milk is all too hard. Maybe the staff were out late the previous night at the pub next door?... More

I would dearly love to tell you about the fine food in this establishment but on arrival around 2 30 pm we entered to find a notice telling us the kitchen was closed. Fair enough, we were late and we had in mind to select fod from the cabinet. The lady in charge was deep in conversation with two other... More

After hearing good things about this cafe, was keen to visit. The coffe was so bad I couldn't drink it and the staff were cold. The food was good though but I suspect most of it was brought in, not made in house

Our group of 8 all thoroughly enjoyed the service, ambiance and superb food quality of this restaurant. How nice it was to have top quality meals that were fairly priced, $15 for starters and $36 each for mains and inclusive of all the normal vegetables you would expect without having to pay any extra. Sally the chef even came to... More

Good choices with vegetarian options. Friendly service. You order at the counter and the food is delivered to your table. Tables inside, under cover or in the sun.

this cafe has great food, with a wide variety of options from full meals to snack food. It is very popular and can get quite busy, but the staff are very friendly and they get your order too you quickly and with a smile. It's very good value and the coffee is great.
