OK price - great flavor

The plates were a bit on the small side in terms of portion but the flavors packed on the plates were big. The dishes were great - not a grain of rice or noodle was left on my plate and friends' plates. The prices are decent for a touristy spot they wont break the bank but they wont save you... read more

My girlfriend and I visited on Jan 2nd, when the city of Mancora is crazy full with people! The staff were kind enough to inform us that the food may delay 30 minutes but we were happily surprised that it arrived within less than 15 minutes! The fried rice and the noodles were amazing! The mostly women staff did their... More

Chaos, nonchalance and major disorder. This place has so much potential, however, it is super disorganised. They require a maitre d/front of house person to welcome you, waitresses with specific sections and more general awareness. As travellers we look forward to going somewhere different for food so the prospect of Thai food was enticing. We did read the reviews beforehand... More

I dined here twice during my stay. I must say their cocktail list is amazing so go here for drinks at least. One night i had the curry and it was good. On the other night I had a chicken salad... although some elements of this dish were nice i couldn't even eat the chicken... they had fried it in... More

Despite I believe it was impossible to get good asian fusion cusine in Mancora, Tao proved me wrong. I went for the specials tonight: a fried wonton nest topped with chunks of fresh raw tuna and avocado with a touch of peruvian rocoto and fresh lime ( as an entree) and a huge fish for 2, fried in garlic and... I ordered some Thai food here during dinner time. The menu has a lot of choices, so I decided to try a Thai curry. Unfortunately I had to wait more than one hour for my dish being served. I noticed that some customers left after half an hour of waiting without being served. It was because I already ordered, if... More

Being a huge fan of asian food was excited to find this restaurant as I had been without for 2 months while in South America. We ordered chicken in oyster sauce and fried rice and pad thai. Both were very tasty and well presented. The pad Thais flavours differed quite some from original pad thai but the flavours were still... More
