Ate there on several occasions and each meal was equally delicious. Seared Tuna steaks drizzled in Teriyaki sauce with a saltado on the side for S. 25 It was a great value. The drinks are a bit pricey but they aren't afraid to pore plenty of booze in :)

We went with several friends to Tao. We were delighted by the extensive menu, but I was really turned off by the sashimi tuna. It was soft and mushy and I was afraid to eat it. The Pad Thai was just OK, nothing special. I think I will give it a miss in the future.

Enjoyed a tuna Thai rice here, very filing and the tuna was cooked really well. Drinks menu is quite expensive though, so best to leave the cocktails for another place.

We tried this restaurant our last evening in Mancora and were pleasantly surprised. It was awesome. Good food. Nicely presented. Very good service.

Don't expect truly authentic Thai food. Went at night during the week, which was kind of dead. I like the atmosphere at night though, it is quite a nice little bungalow style restaurant with seating outside and in. Don't be afraid to holler if you need service, they are very hands off. All the portions are large and meant to... More

Different to Thai we're used to but food was very tasty and filling, Tuna sashimi especially. Didn't have many of wines in the list but tried what seemed to be the only white available which was a Peruvian and was fine.

A fairly basic restaurant (no surprise given Mancora largely caters to surfers and backpackers). The food was actually quite good, but certainly not "authentic". We basically had 2 problems with the restaurant. The service was very slow and forgetful, including not having half (!) the ingredients for a salad (you know, exotic stuff like tomatoes!). The major problem, however, was... More

Wasnt awful but if you are a big fan of Thai food then don't go expecting anything too similar. Ordered a green Thai curry with chicken. Got a slab of chicken on top of bright green stodgy rice which didn't even vaguely taste anything close to green curry paste. I thought I'd accidentally ordered a risotto or something. Was disappointed,... More
