The food is always spectacular. The owner/chef Paul uses the freshest ingredients; and; he brings a unique twist to many traditional native dishes. The atmosphere is fun: salsa music, a great bar and people-watching. Co-owner/ hostess Jolie always makes sure you have the best dining experience And her smile is infectious. Additionally, the restaurant features 2 feline co-hostesses, Michu-Michu and... More

You will want to make this restaurant a 'must do' when visiting Puerto Rico. It is just a 40 minute drive from San Juan and well worth the trip. The food is great, all fresh ingredients, home made and secret recipes. Try the crab cakes. The decor is upscale, spotlessly clean ..... a nice change from the surrounding bar scene.... More

This was out first meal in Puerto Rico, and the staff at Ay Bonito! helped us settle in and feel at home. Our hostess was very personable, and took time to explain the menu, adjust the music level, and help us in off the patio when a light rain started. The Mahi- Mahi was really tastey, as were the mufongos... More

We enjoyed the crab cakes, shrimp kabobs, and Mahi-Mahi. We thought they opened at noon, but discovered the day we were there they did not open until 5. We walked up and down the kiosks and by then they were open. Enjoyed the food. It was more expensive than the places we usually try, but we wanted fish and enjoyed... More

Ay Bonito continues to be the best restaurant in the Kioskos and clearly up there on the island. Yoly and Paul continue to put out great food and really take care of their customers. I have been on the no-carb Atkins diet recently (it works) and I explained this to Yoly who is a fixture at the front of the... More

We were a little hesitant to try this due to the appearance, especially compared to a gourmet place next door, but the girls attending convinced us to give them a try. It turns out that they have an italian chef and a brick oven to make artesanal pizzas... What a discovery! They should try to promote this treasure more, especially... More

Go ahead! Drive up and down the 60 something kiosks, but THIS is where you eat! If you like fresh ingredients, friendly service, a relaxing atmosphere, CLEAN restrooms, and amazing brick oven pizza ... Look no further!! Don't get sucked in by the other kiosks selling deep fried empanadillas that have been laying out 3 hours under a light. This... More

Took a break from La Parilla -- our other favorite kiosko -- to finally give this place a try, and we were not disappointed. Crab cakes appetizer was delicious, and the chorizo pizza was excellent. Very friendly service, too.

We loved it! The owners are so nice! They made us feel right at home. We sat out on the patio and it was so pleasant until it started to lightly rain and then they quickly moved us inside. The food was great, the staff was very friendly and we enjoyed our time. The first thing my husband said when... More

In my opinion Ay Bonito is one of the better kiosks in Luquillo. It was very busy, that's always a good sign. We ordered crab cakes which were delicious. We also enjoyed a fabulous pizza topped with Manchego cheese and chorizo, but as the crab cakes were larger than we'd anticipated, we had plenty left to take back to our... More
