Might as well close, when you walk up and its empty, that should be a sign, the food is not good! The place is dark, what a shame, nice area, and view!

My wife and I eat here on Our last night in Puerto Rico. We read good reviews and even saw a sign stating they were rated well on trip advisor. We approached the resteraunt and it appeared to be closed( it was dark inside and no one was in there) although they were open. We ordered cerviche and the coconut... More

We were greeted in a very friendly manner. Our waitress suggested we get guava mojitos (what they're known for) and they were so tasty! their food recommendations were based on quality and not price so we were happy. We got the appetizer sampler - everything was amazing (not a fan of pinchos). i got a burger with yuca fries -... More

Minutes after we arrived, the owner Freddy, introduced himself and welcomed us to his restaurant. I asked Freddy for a recommendation. He nailed my food and drink preferences! I had the Dorado (Mahi) with a guava mojito that was out of this world! My husband had a root vegetable mash with chicken and 'ecstasy sauce', that was mouthwatering, and a... More

Some vegetarian dishes were good, others a little bland, which is inexcusable for Caribbean cuisine. The ceviche was superb, and the presentation quite good. Apparently some carnivorous entrees were scrumptious - my "foodie" companions' reviews. The food is pricey, as in most of Puerto Rico, and the service was slow and sometimes inattentive. The waitress did not even bring salt... More

The restaurant is right next to Boardriders Bar and restaurant, it's facing the Playa La Pared beach. Nice trendy décor. Food is quite expensive as well as the drinks, so we only ordered a drink and an appetizer for each of us. Cerviche and the fried calamari and both dishes are fantastic!! Staff is very friendly. They're not open on... More

Guavas looks like a pub which it is on weekends when Freddie the owner, turns it that direction, but don't let appearances deceive you. The food which runs from classic PR to spanish to carribbean fusion to continental (freddie was an Air Force vet of 23 years) is top notch, rivaling the quality and freshness of anything you'd find at... Nothing special, kinda expensive. Live music was horrendous, seemed like a garage band was playing. Bartenders were slow and jerkish. The bar next door was a hell of a lot better. Beach view made it worth it

This was a very nice place to have dinner! My husband and I ate with another couple we were vacationing with. Everyone had lobster and I had a hamburger (can't have shellfish). My hamburger was pretty good and everyone said their lobsters were great. They looked wonderful and super fresh! We also had pina coladas which were so good! The... More
