This place is so cool! I remember thinking, its just a bar in the ocean...let me say there's nothing like it! Order your food as soon as you get there as it takes awhile but is sooo tasty. We just sat around drinking red stripes and exploring the place while waiting. The prices are less than I expected. It just... More

Very cool place / a bit pricy but hey you are actually in the ocean! having a beer in the ocean is quite an experience you can`t get at home --> at least you're living in the heart of europe you need a good guide who knows the see / and very important who knows to handle a nutshell boat... More

My husband and I booked a tour to YS falls then to the pelican bar through Reggae tours on a Thursday. Our tour guide stayed behind on the beach and told the men driving our boat to bring us back in an hour. 15 minutes would have been plenty of time at the Pelican bar. The bar is out too... More

Visited this little spot and I could tell it could be a chill spot to enjoy a cold red stripe on a hot Jamaican day. BUT, check to see when the larger resorts are bringing boatloads of tourists from Negril or Montego Bay. Coming from a private house and chill vibe of Treasure Beach we accidentally arrived on a Wednesday... More

Took about 1hr 45 mins from Negril to get there. Didn't try the food because the place was so small, little apprehensive about the cleanliness of it. Place seemed like it was run by a few 25 year old thugs. Roof had a major hole in it and they didn't seem like they were concerned about it. Took a boat... More

A must visit if in the area, boat ride out to the most unique location, great simple food, atmosphere is great too with locals playing dominos with lots of energy, we took our 1yr old daughter just watch out for the gaps! And take something to leave behind to add to the beautiful rustic decor!

Nothing like it!! Where else can you drink at a bar in the middle of the ocean? Beautiful, eclectic scenery at the pelican bar. You can grab a drink and walk around the water and look at the skates!!! or sit on the deck and enjoy the view. My advice (sorry Sandals) don't go Wednesday because that is when Sandals... More
