Coolest Bar I've been to, $$

This is probably the coolest bar I will ever go to unless I find a bar inside an active volcano or in space. Just gotta dock it (get it?) one point for being kind of pricey, 22$ for a tiny fish, rice, and 2 beers. Fish was good though if you don't mind the bones, which I don't.

The restaurant was lovely, staff friendly. Service very slow. I think I just made a wrong choice from the menu.

If you don't know whats coming you'll have your socks knocked off! What an amazing place in this wee corner of the world. God knows how they managed to build it. If your ready to meet some people, swim and drink all at the same time this is your place!

Let me start by saying in the past 3 years I have gone to the Pelican Bars more times than I can count. In reading peoples reviews (negative ones) I felt compelled to write my own review, to attempt at setting the story straight. The Pelican Bar is an absolute hidden treasure. People had mentioned that they weren't greeted and... More

The boat ride was a little long, and uncomfortable, but the destination was AWESOME, would've stayed out there all day if we could. With Nicki Hoerr, Steve Ploudre, Julie Butz, and Jerry Butz

It is unfortunate that to get to the bar, it costs so much money, to end up with so many tourists on such a small place, that it is not exactly funny! It is a funky place and worth seeing in many ways, but for the price, one has to think twice. We actually drove to Parrottee beach ourselves and... More

This bar is a wonderful place to spend a low-key afternoon. Grab a beer and find a place to sit outside on the boardwalk area and relax! A nice place to chat with fellow travelers as well. The water was pretty shallow when we were there - maybe 4 feet deep - so we enjoyed standing in the ocean while... More

This is the most unusual place and totally marketed towards tourists, yet it was filled with locals. I had so many questions as to why and how this place exists, but decided to just roll with it. You should too.

We took the long way out to the bar, which was great ( always like boat rides). Beer was $400 Jamaican. The lobster didn't look so hot and no special rum drinks. It was super windy that day so waiting in the water. U don't need a long time there.

At the end of our Black River tour of the crocs, we came here. It was a little iffy in these little boats to get my toddler son of 2 up the steps and out of the non secured boat, but we did it. He had a great time interrupting the mens' dominoes game tons of times. They even gave... More
