Slow, but worth the wait

This is a great little local eatery. There is a huge choice of dishes available and we found it to be very reasonably priced. Our group really did try a huge variety of food and there were no complaints. I second the Jerk Chicken Tacos recommendation :) Yes it is a bit slow, but your in Treasure... read more

This Treasure Beach restaurant could be so much more with just a bit of planning and personal attention to details. Owen and Elizabeth, the owners, haven't found the proper management team as yet. The food is consistently good (we go about once every two months), but the staff is lackadaisical and inattentive. Just because you've frequently seen my face in... More

This is a great place to come for drinks in the evening - but don't be in a rush! We went for breakfast before checking out of our rooms nearby. Very average food but an unreasonably long wait. We almost left! And no butter for toast?

We enjoyed eating at Frenchman's Reef during our recent stay in Treasure Beach. The jerked chicken tacos were truly the best I have ever had. We had to wait a bit for our food, but the atmosphere is amazing so we didn't mind at all. The waitresses were great and we had our drinks within a minute or two of... More

I loved the goat curry and my girlfriend loved her jerk chicken, but for some reason the vibe of the place just felt too much like home with how modern everything was. My favorite part about treasure beach was how simple everything was. Simplicity is important to me for a restaurant; I feel better when a place only serves 3... More

The only place I can count on to take between 30 minutes and an hour to deliver a drink. The slowest service in the world. Quite pricey too with cocktails costing similar to home. It feels like drawing a water out of a stone trying to get something.

The food here was good, but nothing particularly special. This was probably the slowest service we experienced while in Jamaica, so plan accordingly! Not a problem for us since we weren't in a rush to get anywhere after dinner, but it got a bit old after the second hour. I definitely would choose Jack Sprat's over this place.

The people who work there are wonderful! They gave us cash back everyday from the register when our cards wouldn't work at the ATMs in Jamaica. The curry coconut goat was incredible. The banana smoothies were amazing!!! My 2 year old son and I spent many a day hanging out in this place. The patio is big, there are kids... More

Loved the vibe in Frenchman's Reef. A lovely mix of locals young and old, and visitors. Early evening dance lessons (join in or rest as you like - so chilled!). Tasty fresh fish and fresh juices and smoothies. Dance competitions and friendly service. A must-do in Treasure Beach
