A Restaurant in Dominica at the see sells oversea pork, salmon from Alaska, beef from the US.., Rather strange that it advertises with local food... The waitress could not recommend anything... There is much better local Restaurants, small ones in Calibishie!

We had several great dinners at Calabash while staying at Sea Cliff Cottages outside Calibishie. The fresh mahi-mahi and local tuna were great, and well-prepared, as were the bbq ribs (excellent quality with a tasty sauce). The view from the deck above the restaurant is fabulous -- perfect at sunset.

Try the homemade ice cream - just like grandma's! Unfortunately the mangoes were out of season and also the calaloo. But we did have saltfish and bakes for breakfast, as requested.

Great service, food and view at this laid back place!

We were the only couple there during a downpour and we asked the owner if she had music by "Adele"..and she turned on the music and her husband/boyfriend stood up from their dinner and started dancing..It was magic to us

The Lunch was good, the view spectacular! Service very good, this is what lunch should be like everyday!

Good local food. Definitely one of the better restaurants in the Calabishi area

I'd been here in January, and went back recently - nothing had changed....the service is fabulous, friendly and caring; the food always home-cooked perfect; plus they have a balconied open top floor to enjoy the gorgeous sunsets and of course the savour their nearest view to the tip of Guadeloupe, Isles de Saintes, and see lights twinkling on the pancake... More

Like most local restaurants in the West indies the Calabash has a simple menu with most dishes beig fish, chicken or lamb with rice. Nothing special but fine and resonable value for money
