didn't know what to expect from this little shack but wow they know what they are doing! The lobster roll was great, I had it with a blueberry beer. A must in PEI.

Great location in the national park. The lobster in the lobster roll and lobster hamburger was the most generous you will find. Best we had on the island. Worth a trip, The lobster pound next door is great for lobster and oyster and a good price to take back to the hotel

The Lobster Roll is definitely the greatest I have had in the East Coast. If you go during lunch or dinner hours you are sure to stand in line. But it's definitely worth the wait.

My husband and I are staying in Stanhope this week, so naturally we made a visit to Richard's Seafood because it's basically the only restaurant in the National Park. We had very high hopes for the quality and taste of the food based upon what other reviewers had written. We ended up being disappointed with our experience. We had to... More

Don't bother to go to anywhere else. Right smack in the middle of a tiny fishing village, this place serves the best lobster roll and fish and chips.

On a very rainy day, we wanted to eat lunch close to our rental cottage. Had we discovered this place sooner, we probably would have eaten there every day. The fish comes right off the boats that pull up at the dock across the parking lot. My husband's scallop burger was swoon worthy; fried clams enormous; and mussels delicious and... More

We went here because the place we expected to go for a "real" dinner was closed for a private party...and every other place was either not yet open for the season or too far from our hotel for our preference. That said -- we were so so glad we came here. It is a basic seafood "shack"; order at one... More

We've been hearing about the great the fish and chips at Richard's Seafood ever since we moved to Prince Edward Island 4 years ago, and last night we decided to check them out. Wow, talk about hot, crispy and delicious! This isn't a fancy restaurant but it's clean and has a terrific view over the water. You order your choice... More

Each time I go to Prince Edward Island I have to drive out to have lunch. By far the best and freshest fish and chips on the island. The view is second to none. A little on the pricier side but so good.

Worth the drive from wherever you are out to Richard's for fish & chips or the lobster club. It's our standard for comparing any other fish we order in a restaurant! No other place has even come close to comparing. The lobster club is amazing too, I wouldn't be able to leave here without ordering one. We usually split the... More
