Great food and cool location

Very friendly staff, really great breakfast and lots to see! On the way out we took some cinnamonbuns and brownies to go and they were great too!

This café is wonderfully decorated with vintage small appliances, posters etc, the foods good but the décor keeps you fascinated the whole time you are there. The furnishings & dishes are all mismatched and vintage - I will be back

I had a good lunch but overheard the waitress telling a customer that the cook had just sat down and she shouldn't order. I think she got a cookie and a coffee instead and when we were leaving town we saw her at the dash. Pretty bad customer service.

We were passing through after leaving Hyder and needed gas. The station was changing out their credit card machine and was unable to sell us gas for about an hour. We went down the street and found the Rookery. The food was excellent and very well prepared. I have never had toast quite like they serve, but will be trying... More

Food was fresh and good, great atmosphere amongst all the old antiques, I actually preferred the self serve coffee as I could refill when needed, would definitely return.

We ate breakfast here all 3 mornings we were in Stewart. Food was excellent & so was the service. Fun to look at all the old toasters. Early in the morning, I could smell the cinnamon rolls baking as we walked up to the door. Place looked very clean and we had no reason to look elsewhere for breakfast.

The food at this place was great - we had smoked salmon eggs benedict and it was really yummy. Service was slow and stress, however, as they seemed short staffed and the place was packed. Though the place has only about 8-9 tables, most of the available space is taken up with wall to wall antiques, inviting people to browse... More

I ordered the sausage on a bun and it came with chickpea salad. It was a bit small for the price, I think, but delicious. The chickpea salad was too vinegary for my liking and tiny. I could have had more...
