Pleasant surroundings, friendly staff and an excellent bowl of Cullen skink which could not be faulted by a native of Cullen itself! We will return next time we're in Mallaig

Another brilliant meal at the Chlachain - chefs John and Paul served up a perfectly cooked seabass on a delicious pea and crab risotto - fantastic !

Delicious cold beers and ciders, wonderful fish and chips and the cutest puppy. The owners were there and greeted and chatted with us. Wonderful dinning experience.

Great refuge from a very wild day. Stopped off for a lunch. Open sandwich of local crab with chilli, smoked salmon and pulled gammon. All three fantastic. Staff incredibly friendly. A place to visit again

Ate at the Chlachain Inn on two separate occasions whilst on holiday in Arisaig. We had a wonderful experience. The decor was nice, a roaring fire and welcoming staff. There were eight of us and no one had any cause for complaint. The food was excellent as was the staff. We had a great time. Definitely recommend.

We visited this pub/restaurant just to get out of the hail/sleet which was coming down heavily at the time. What a pleasant surprise to find such a lovely place where we were greeted so warmly. My soup was delicious and my husband had the cheese and bacon baguette which he said was excellent. There was a lovely fire with a... More

LOVED the fish and chips. Fantastic. I even ate the peas. Friendly staff; if a bit distant. I do recommend as the food was excellent.

This place is a hidden gem!! The drive out to Mallaig from Fort William is stunningly beautiful, and while the restaurant looks like nothing from the outside, the food was simply amazing. The cullen skink (fish/seafood soup) was awesome (still thinking about it) and my son had the fresh haddock (fish and chips)- the fish was also incredibly fresh and... More
