Good restaurant and bar to pass the time while waiting for the train

We spent some time in the bar and had fish and chips in the restaurant - reasonably priced and nice fish. Beer was good too!

The atmosphere was lovely. Very clean here and nice furnishings. Service was a little slow but very friendly. We both had fish and chips and they were lovely!

Having heard some good reviews about this place we decided to book a table for lunch on a Monday. Upon arrival the restaurant was packed which is a good sign but also we realised that the steam train just arrived. Desperate to experience the array of seafood of Mallaig's seawater we were disappointed when being told that there were no... More

The food is great. Big portions and taste great. The staff is friendly and we where impressed we went again the next day. I had the chicken / ham in bbq sauce and my wife had a big sauce pan of mussels and the second voussoir I had the stacked burger which was also nice and filling.

Warm and cosy with Dogs allowed in the Bar. Excellent attention to detail by staff offering a smile and warm welcome to visitors. Superb choice of meals from the Bar menu at very reasonable prices. Highly recommended and mustn't be missed on your visit to Mallaig.

The food was ordered by phone in plenty of time yet we were kept waiting and it was cooling down rapidly by time it was handed to us. The food however was fair; reasonable quality and tasty.

We had a delicious dinner here after our train ride on The Jacobite Express. Everyone enjoyed their meal. I had the mussels, which were delicious - cooked in white wine, cream and garlic.
