Evening Meal

Haddock and chips was really good, lovely beer batter and good portion sizes. Good value for money. Contemporary decor, service was fine.

When a dozen motorcyclists suddenly arrive en mass late on a Saturday evening, with no prior warning, you might expect the restaurant to be hesitant or reluctant. But this was far from the case when we were welcomed with a big smile and a request to go and have a drink at the bar whilst the staff re-arranged some tables... More

Had the seafood chowder/Cullen skink. £8.95. The best I've had in Scotland to date. And I've had about six bowls at different restaurants/cafes so far. It was a couple of £ more expensive than usual, but worth it. If I had one small complaint it is that it couldve been a tad warmer. The casual dining area and bar was... More

Stumbled across this place - a former pub, now half restaurant and part bar. Seafood chowder was amazing, and clearly the seafood was straight from the boats - completely unexpected, and a lovely surprise. The two waitresses were rushed off their feet (testament to the popularity of the place!), yet efficient, friendly and welcoming. Well-recommended.

The service from the two girls in the restaurant was first class as was the bar service. The decor and ambience is lovely. However the food was disappointing, my langoustines were served hot which was definitely not to my taste and the £24.95 scallops were overpowered with the chorizo sauce and two rather large slabs of black pudding. Also my... More

You need to look past the exterior decor and head straight into the restaurant. Inside you'll find a modern but classy restaurant with an open fire and great staff. The menu was full of really tempting dishes consisting of locally caught seafood and other tasty meat dishes. It's great value for money and you can tell that the kitchen take... More

Having travelled from Fort William to Mallaig by train - one of the most picturesque journeys ever -we had an hour to look around and find lunch. One companion decided he must have a Talisker whisy to celebrate being almost at Skye, but where to go? A number of teashops line the road into the village from the station but... More

I spent the weekend at the Inn and had dinner 1 night. The food was tasty and quite satisfying. I ordered prawns but did not expect the batter. Being a fishing area I expected actual prawns to grasp the true and real fresh flavor.
