Fantastic wee place - don't miss out!

We ended up staying in Lochcarron unplanned (a road traffic accident had closed the main road North of Applecross, so back over the Bealach na Ba we went, and ended up staying in Lochcarron for the night). Excellent service, seafood chowder packed with flavour. Scallops and black pudding sweet and tender. Followed by venison medallions and sirloin steak all cooked to perfection. Steve the chef and proprietor took great pride in his work. Small and friendly great service.

Stayed in Lochcarron recently . Had two meals there the chowder was as good as it gets. The mussels were the best and the sea bass was so tasty

A good place to eat in Lochcarron, only about 6-8 tables so book to be sure of a table. Meals were freshly cooked and very nicely presented

Good tasty food starters good value mains although tasty could do with more on the plate. Chef is trying to get good fresh local produce on the table and succeeds. Good range of bottled beers

Definitely a good place to eat - food was great and service was good. Would recommend this and would eat here again if we were back in the area.

Just returned from a long weekend and ate twice at the Lochcarron Bistro. What a find - just a pity it's so far from home or it would be my local eatery. The chef is so obliging and even with a house full, still managed, flying solo in his kitchen, to turn out lovely food. I'm a regular visitor to... More

Staying in Lochcarron for a week we had planned to eat here for one of our evening meals. We had not booked but luckily we got a table for the 3 of us. This eatery appears to be a favourite with the locals. My son loves haddock but does not like batter on asking the chef for breaded fish he... More

Lovely food, the langoustines are absolutely mouthwatering. We would happily eat here every night we were in Lochcarron :) Friendly staff too.

This small bistro has a limited menu but each meal is superbly cooked almost before your eyes. There is a "specials" board for catches of the day. Open from 5pm each day it has a truly intimate feel with friendly staff. Excellent value all round
