Good food and service. Busy and popular restaurant. Good value. Recommend if you are looking for an Italian meal.

Since Megano's have moved premises I have only been impressed when eating out there. The new restaurant has a lovely modern, bistro type feel, and the food and service always great. I can thoroughly recommend the pate on toast with grilled mozzarella! Great to have such a good place at hand in Annan.

Lost our reservation, served us all cold meals, didn't have a clue what gluten free meant, steaks were tough and not cooked as requested, hot fudge cake was cold, there was a hair in one of the desserts, not a good experience

Went for a chilled evening with friends, disastrous meal this time. I was really disappointed as the last time I ate here it was superb! One of our party has celiac disease and on carefully ordering her meal, checked out on the sauces and the waitress returned to advise the chef could prepare a Diane sauce, specially suited, impressed ........ Visited for meal with 3 friends last night and meal was dreadful from start to finish. Salmon and potatoes were cold; steak which was supposed to be medium was rare and gluten free meal arrived with onion rings, When it was sent back they just removed the onion rings and sent it back! We've eaten at Meganos before, admittedly not for a while, and always had a really good meal and overall experience. This time we were totally underwhelmed on every level. The fact that the restaurant has moved from an attractive upstairs venue to the cafe downstairs was our first disappointment as it was very noisy, crowded and disorganised, as well as... More

As the family weren't going to be together at Christmas time we decided to have a meal in Megano's beforehand. And it was great, we required a gluten freen meal which arrived and was full of flavour. Very nice atmosphere, and the staff were attentive.

We were only in Annan for one night, 22/3,(staying at Queensberry arms hotel next door), and got back late after visiting friends. Was approaching 10 when we arrived and asked for a table for 2, very friendly staff checked and showed yes to table, I appreciate we were the last to be seated but we didn't feel rushed at all.... I visited the restaurant with my girlfriend whilst on holiday in Ecclefechan. The food was exceptional and the portions were massive. The service was a little slow, but then again it was worth the wait!
