Friday 24th April Fish Night

What a wonderful meal, loved by all or party of 9, the fish was divine, as was the steak and chicken. The desserts were die for, Lemon Posset nom nom nom. Service was great. There wasn't anything to let us down, really really pleased with everything.

We booked a table for 4 for Sunday lunch at 3pm, the food was delicious, as always, however it was let down badly by the poor service and rude staff. Our party had 3 courses each followed by tea and coffee and upon clearing our desert plates we were told the table was needed in 10 minutes time!!! I had... More

Myself and my partner have eaten in church street quite a few times and decided to call in for Sunday lunch and it did not disappoint!! We had a super meal, starting with a selection of breads, which were all excellent, my personal favourite was the wheaten bread which was chunky but so light and moist!! We had chilli chicken... Visited this restaurant for the 2nd time, as on the 1st visit we had a hair in our food. We were compensated for this by being given a free bottle of wine which when we got home we realised that we had been charged for!! In the 2nd visit, almost a year later, the menu was the same, fairly uninteresting... More

We had my mothers day Dinner in Church Street with our 4 young kids. From start to finish it was 1st class! The waiter/waitress were on hand to help with our every need, the menu was set but not the normal menus being a very busy day. The kids enjoyed there meals equally and it wasn't too expensive to finish... More

My favourite thing about Church Street is that their menu is a little different and classy without being pompous. The same could be said of the manager! :-) Always excellent food: the early bird menu is great value. Have eaten here many times and have never been disappointed.

Although I live in a city, completely surrounded by every type of restaurant you can think of, this offering in Magherafelt is well worth a visit. In the past, you'd had to have travelled much further afield to find this quality of food and cooking. Just to put my comments into some context, I grew up in Magherafelt back in... More

Delicious food, small portions, but tasty. Tables downstairs a bit cosy. Would not feel comfortable to take kids.
