Top Nosh!

Had a family meal for a party of 14. When booking in advance the restaurant offered to put on a tapas banquet. Personally I thought this was a great idea and was enjoyed by all. For some of the family it was a first experience of tapas and they all tried food that they may not have chosen and it... read more

Having heard great things from many friends, we decided to give the Toad & Tatie a try. Turned out to be a fantastic experience. A very welcoming place with a warm & friendly atmosphere. Everyone else in there looked & sounded to be having a great time. It was busy, but not too much so. There's a large choice of... More

Visited The Toad and Tatie as a last minute decision and it was lovely. Very welcoming, the food is Tapas which was some of the best I have had. We ordered 11 dishes between 4 of us and we all had a good portion of most of them. Dishes range between £4.95 to £9.95 but they are very nice. The... More

Not the best experience and just generally overpriced microwave re heated tapas. Staff have personality of a wet shoe.

The on-line menu brought me to the T&T and glad it did. It's an eclectic mix of food themes including Spanish, Italian, Asian and others. Unusual too in that the traditional starter / main formulae has given way to a single pick & mix choice for you to build the meal to suite your taste and appetite. My rabbit and... More

This was the first time we'd eaten here having heard good things about the place. I'm pleased to say everything we'd heard was right. The venue is lovely and welcoming with a great atmosphere and the staff are all really friendly. The menu is all tapas and provides a wide range of options and flavours to suit just about any... Good tapas in this busy restaurant. There are dishes for adults and children. The baklava pudding was excellent.

Have eaten here a few times over the years and always enjoyed it, however, this was the first time eating from the tapas menu (which is now all they do) and wow! Just lovely, had a really enjoyable evening, the surroundings and staff were lovely as always and the food was incredible. Thankyou!!

Our second visit here this year, this time for an early bar couple of drinks then we decided to have a couple of tapas which turned into more than a couple! Excellent standard of food and plenty of choice from the normal Tapas to the more unexpected , we had sharing pittas with dips, Thai prawns and noodles ,spicy beef flank... More

Saturday evening tapas with the girls. This establishment is now totally a tapas menu. The selection is fabulous. The pub is quaint and has a warm welcoming feel to it. The staff are friendly and chatty (that's Yorkshire folk for ya) We ordered a variety of dishes (durr ...its tapas) ....the king prawns were to die for...the lamb chops were... More
