Had a fantastic breakfast of salmon benedict and a farmhouse breakfast. Couldnt fault it. Lovely little place, friendly staff and owner. The dinner menu looked amazing and I could have eaten anything off of it! Will be back next time im in the 'firth!

I have reviewed Nick's Kitchen several times over the years and visited today after an absence of a few months. I had super tasty carrot and coriander soup and a chicken, bacon and avocado sandwich and it really good. I particularly liked the bread which was obviously fresh today and with a mug of Good coffee and could have stay... More

Served lovely food! Very good value for money. Small but pleasant seating area (only seats 12). Can't wait to go again!!

Just moved to the area, had a trip into Holmfirth and called for lunch at Nicks Kitchen....what a lovely lunch it was... Freshly cooked... Piping hot... I had the cheesy leek jacket potato which was positively the best lunch dish I have had in a long time.... Thankyou... I have booked to back next week for dinner.... Xxx

Well not in Holmfirth! The reviews intrigued us because we didn't know of Nick's existence despite having been in and around Holmfirth for a very long time. We were not disappointed. The food was excellent and the service (up and down those stairs) spot on. My own personal little gripe was the cooking smells. Having seen the layout it must... More

Visited this restaurant in April after seeing it was No. 1 on trip advisor. I emailed Nick and he sent me a sample of typical menu - and we decided to book. It is a tiny little place, but so cute. As it is unlicensed we dropped off out bottle of fizz and wine to be chilled, while we went... More

This restaurant is tiny - only 12 tables situated on the first floor up some steep stairs. For evening meals you can only book on certain dates - these are shown on the website. It is also unlicenced so if you want alchohol be sure to take your own with you (corkage is charged at £2.50 per bottle). When I... More

...and 18 months on, the food is still lovely. I pop down into Holmfirth just for lunch at Nick's every month or so with family or a friend and have always enjoyed my meal. The reason why it's 4* instead of 5 this time is because the menu is always the same - and has been for quite a long... More

Finally, I got to dine in the evening at Nick's Kitchen and tasted the best ever pork. It was a gorgeous three course meal with just the right amount of time left between courses. It is obvious that Nick takes immense pride in what he does and this is clearly shown in both the taste and presentation of the food.... More

I first visited Nick's kitchen a few years ago and I'll say straight away I'm a fan as I've never had a negative experience. We booked for a Saturday fine dining experience as the previous one a couple of years ago was amazing and on Saturday Nick didn't disappoint. I had pork tenderloin and pulled pork as a main and...
