Wonderful

As soon as we walked in the usual friendly greeting from all the staff. Looked after as always and 5 year old Fin given exactly what he asked for. Food beautiful and massive portion. Really enjoyed and will be back again soon

Just been for Sunday lunch. Car park was busy so thought it looked promising. Very busy inside and a lovely chatty atmosphere with pleasant background music and devote was good. No direction from waiting staff as to how the menu and Carvery system worked. Carvery station looked well presented so we opted for the one course Carvery at £8.95 per... More

I had trio of lamb and my partner had venison both was sublime. Not only is the food delicious but the staff are always warm and friendly and... More

We had a terrible evening on sat the 25 th April , the worst restaurant meal we have ever had !!! We were first greeted by the feeble excuse of three things being off the the menu as the head waiter said the supplier had broken down , one of the items said hade edge lamb well that's only up... We had a lovely evening meal here on Easter Monday. It was quite busy but the service was pretty good, food was lovely, large portions with a wide range of specials. The puddings were great and well worth taking home if your tummies full.

Not being from this area, we were recommended to eat here by a family member. We had no idea what to expect and were absolutely starving following a duathlon event in the morning! Walking in we were greeted to a busy pub and told to get a table wherever there was one available. It's a self service pub which is... More

Dinner with hubby this evening. Staff friendly, restaurant could have been a little warmer as quite chilly. I ordered the veggie lasagne which was delicious, wonderful selection of fresh veg in the dish which was really tasty and I would definitely order again. Home made chips and fresh side salad complimented the dish perfectly. Hubby ordered gammon with fried egg,... More
