One of the best restaurants in Godalming

Great food, friendly staff and wonderful style. Even if not eating, always come here for a pre dinner drink. Great bar area, albeit a little small but staff always chatty and interested. Does a mean Hendricks gin & tonic. Would recommend

Pricey, but top quality. Don't forget to try the Espresso Martini....I would like to have one everyday for breakfast!!

We ate here with friends. When we turned up the waiter cracked a joke telling us our table was cancelled! (Strange thing to say). We were taken to a nice round table. The food was really nice but overpriced and the wine was ridiculously expensive. We are in a little town of Godalming, not London! Food is served on boards,... More

I love this restaurant as it has amazing space (it's located in an old church building) and the staff are always attentive and pleasant. The food is very tasty - worth a visit...

Eaten here several times (it's about a 40 minute drive for us) and we really like the place. Staff are welcoming, happy and knowledgeable. Great (changing) menu in a stunning converted church and excellent food. Wines are fabulous but try the "house". No, it's not cheap, but it is an "eating and drinking experience" and reasonable value. Great place for... More

The place is just stunning... Staff all very polite and helpful. But it is just so overpriced... I mean £8.00 for a glass of wine! and £8.00 for a Chicken and Avocado Sandwich... Just not worth it!... They seriously need to look at their prices... Clearly why there were only a few people in their at lunch time!

Was not impressed on the whole!.. The price was high for not very much food, but worst of all, despite the claims on in the small print, they added a whopping £4.88 tip without my consent. Tipping should be optional, and so should being allowed to be able to tip what you think is appropriate for the food and service,... More

Came to this restaurant on a spare of the moment thing. Have driven past it so many times but not been in it! The building is lovely and makes the whole evening that bit more special. Equally, the staff try to ensure your evening is the best it can and were all very attentive and friendly at all times. My... More

Contained within a former church, close to the high street with good parking. The food is excellent as too is the service provided by a friendly and accommodating staff. By no means our first visit and will certainly not be the last whether it be for an evening meal or, as on this occassion, Sunday lunch.

We visited on aMonday and it was as to be expected, quiet. A beautiful building and a tastefully designed interior. The waiting staff were very friendly and professional. I ordered a £23 steak and chips and my wife a £12 Smoked Haddock and Choritzo Stew. They arrived and we were speechless. Mu tasteless and thin steak was no larger than... More
