Good beer, friendly faces.

Good beer, friendly faces. Finally the Red Lion is back to being a pub again! Has some good, varied music on at various points in the week

Sometimes heading here after work, it's a great place with a lively atmosphere. Often hosting live music, it was a cracking place to be during Frank the Cat's set at Staycation 2015. Would definitely recommend. Could be updated as it is a little antiquated.

After hearing some positive feedback from other regarding the Sunday roasts here I thought why not give it try, unfortunately it didn't live up to feedback. I had the roast beef which came rare though home I like it was almost inedible I could only describe it as the most bland and rubbery piece of beef I have every eaten,... More

Very pleasant interior, well mannered staff who sell some excellent real ales at a reasonable price and good food!

Been here a few times now, the pub has really turned a corner and made a lovely destination to head to in Godalming! They do a cracking Sunday lunch as well! Yorkshires are so big!

Although the staff were lovely and we had excellent service, we found this place a little quirky. It's a sports bar on one side and a restaurant area/bar on the other and you have to go outside to get from one to the other. Not been here before the new management so can't comment. The menu was the shortest I've... More

This place has been transformed and the new owners are doing everything right. I don't know about the food, but for amazing bands, a few ciders and a boogie, this is the place to come.

No meal taken, so this is just a review of the pub as a pub. The new management are working hard to make this a socail destination rather than a default pub. The beers are lovely, with a nice selection of wines. (Could do with some interesting non-alcoholics as well hint hint). I've been along to the Book Group a... More

It's good to see that the Red Lion, a famous Godalming pub is again open with a good range of fine quality real ales. A nice friendly pub with very pleasant bar staff and cliental alike...........we'll now be back as regulars.
