While we found the overall menu limited the specials board more than made up for it. The... read more

I looked at the Burcott Inn's website, seemed a nice pub with a garden. Set off from Haybridge walking with our two dogs. After a 1.5 Mike walk we arrived to be welcomed by a no dogs sign in the gate to the garden. Very annoyed, if you don't allow dogs into the garden make it clear on your website.... More

Hospitable and friendly staff, decent premises and atmosphere. Good on- tap range of real ales. We went for an evening meal and I have given an average score because this was the main reason for our visit. The food was adequate and well presented, however I felt that some of the menu items were over-ambitious. A simpler menu choice and... More

Is was very quiet when my husband & I went there, just a couple of locals. We were made to feel very welcome. There was an open fire which was lovely. The food was excellent and not to expensive

We liked it so much the first night of our camping weekend, we went the second night too. Staff are really really friendly, pub is cosy. Restaurant cosy, good choices, food gorgeous and very reasonable. Loved it.

Lovely looking pub with nice outdoor seating. Not the warmest of welcomes, even though the barmaid saw us waiting she didn't acknowledge us and I had to get the first "hello" in. Maybe she had a bad day but being front of house you need to on the ball! Just a quick "be with you in a moment" would have... More

We had lunch here on a week day and the service was efficient, the food arrived very quickly and was well priced and tasty. We sat in the garden which was very pleasant.

Before I start I have to say that the barmaid could not, have been more helpful or more embarrassed at how we were treated. My friend (a resident of the village ) and I met for lunch at The Burcott Inn. We decided we would like a prawn cocktail but as a main course. We were informed that this would be... More
