Description: We are a traditional Country Inn located 3/4 of a mile from Ingleton and just 6 miles away from Kirkby Lonsdale. We have 10 guest bedrooms, two of which have four poster beds, one twin bedroom and one family bedroom, the rest are double bedrooms. We are ideally located for the those doing the Yorkshire Three Peaks or visiting the White Scar Caves and Ingleton Waterfalls. All of our food is prepared freshly on site to order and we use locally sourced suppliers. For those Ale drinkers we have 8 Cask Ale hand pulls, which during the busy season we try and have all 8 on. During the quieter months this is not always possible. For those winter months we have two roaring log burning stoves in the bar and for the Summer months we have two lovely beer gardens, one out the front of the hotel looking over St Oswalds Church and one out the back looking over open fields. For the best available rates please look at the hotel website.

Well worth a visit but I would recommend reserving a table in advance. Dogs are welcome. A very traditional old pub built in 1679. The staff are very friendly and the service is excellent. We ordered the steak and ale pie and for the children, we ordered pizza and chips. The pie was perfect and definitely home-made. It was very... More

This is an amazing pub with fantastic food. I cannot praise the staff highly enough. We are regular visitors to the area and always visit the pub. It's decor is smart it's staff welcoming and food amazing. Try it and you will not be disappointed.

Gorgeous old pub (1679) great food and real ale. We walked here from a local guest house but be warned, walking there was fine but coming back it is completely pitch black as there are no lamp posts, so take a torch. But this actually really adds to the charm because if you turn the torches off and look up... More

A place tucked away just off the A65 that does great meals and very fine hand pulled ales. Dogs welcomed and had a brilliant atmosphere. Also have rooms which I understand are being upgraded.

We stayed in Ingleton but it was worth a short walk to eat and drink at the Marton Arms.Staff were friendly and the food was freshly cooked and very good.A good selection of food with a specials board. Prices varied but a three course meal could be had for around £20

It is an ancient hotel, 1647ish, with eating areas inside and out and very welcoming staff. We both settled for the Sunday roast my wife had the chicken, which she pronounced good and I had the beef, which was tasty, but chewy, the vegetables were freshly cooked and very good. The beer was excellent. Another advantage is that it is... More

The food was lovely and the staff very helpful, 15 of us had dinner here, we were well looked after, and with such a large group of us everything went so well. I would highly recommend The Marton Arms.

I would love to apologise to you for your complaint about the service but unfortunately I am not going to as what you have put is simply a lie. I saw the conversation the member of staff had with you an it was infact one of your table who was rude and bad mannered. The member of staff had firstly... More

I went for Sunday lunch, hoping for a good one. Sadly I was very disappointed. My friends had soup which was nice but let down by the cheap processed sliced white bread it was served with. I had the salt and pepper chicken wings. There was nothing salt and pepper about them. They were just doused in soy sauce and... More

Thank you for your review. We are very sorry to hear you were unhappy about your meals. If you had mentioned your dissatisfaction at the time we would have gladly done whatever we could to resolve the issue. With regards to the wine it certainly is very fresh and we have never had complaints about its quality before. More
