We are a traditional Country Inn located 3/4 of a mile from Ingleton and just 6 miles away from Kirkby Lonsdale. We have 10 guest bedrooms, two of which have four poster beds, one twin bedroom and one family bedroom, the rest are double bedrooms. We are ideally located for the those doing the Yorkshire Three Peaks or visiting the White Scar Caves and Ingleton Waterfalls. All of our food is prepared freshly on site to order and we use locally sourced suppliers. For those Ale drinkers we have 8 Cask Ale hand pulls, which during the busy season we try and have all 8 on. During the quieter months this is not always possible. For those winter months we have two roaring log burning stoves in the bar and for the Summer months we have two lovely beer gardens, one out the front of the hotel looking over St Oswalds Church and one out the back looking over open fields. Very average Sunday lunch

this could be a 1st class pub but needs a bit of tlc. My Sunday lunch was dissapointing with watery, tasteless gravy. Nice for a beer but would not eat here again I'm afraid

Lovely pub/restaurant with friendly, helpful staff. Clean rooms & a brilliant full English Breakfast. Dog & child friendly. Ideal place to stay after a walk around Ingleton Falls!

Before I begin what will be a negative review, I have to state that I am commenting on this establishment as a pub and not a restaurant, as we did not eat here. As real ale enthusiasts, we visited this pub during the recent 1940s weekend after reading a variety of positive reviews. Unfortunately, we couldn't disagree more. The beer... More

Stayed at the nearby caravan site for a long weekend and walked here for our evening meal on the first night with our 6 year old grandson. The staff were very welcoming and the range and standard of the food was great. The place is child and dog-friendly - in fact they lent us a dog bowl as we managed... More

A nicely located pub in the village and a welcome find after an exhausting walk. Thought £6.80 for a pint of ale and a half lager with 2 bags of crisps a bit on the expensive side but I guess you can't take it with you.

We had a table for 4 adults booked at 06.30 pm on the 24/06/15. The service was non-existent, we waited for over an hour before our food arrived. Our order consisted of 2 x Sausage, Mash, Vegetables, and Onion gravy. 1 x Lamb Steak, Mash, Vegetables, and Mint Gravy. 1 x Rump Steak 8oz, Chips, Side Salad, Grill Tomato, and... More

We passed the Marton Arms on a trip to Dent and decided to go back and visit it for a meal as we were only staying down the road. Our first meal we shared the spare ribs as a starter and they melted in the mouth. Yummy. For the main meal I had the rump of lamb on bubble &... More

Knew of this place already as I've stayed here some years ago. Booked for Saturday night. We travelled to a nearby campsite with a 'local pub 10 minute walk away'. I was thrilled when I realised it was this pub! We both had sirloin steak. We were a little concerned when we were brought steak knives... a good steak shouldn't... More

Visited for lunch yesterday. Although we rang the day before to find out if food was being served before we attempted the 45 minute drive we were told food was being served until 3.30. We set of for the drive and when we arrived at 2.30 the pub was closed! After a few phone calls we were advised they had... More
