We are a traditional Country Inn located 3/4 of a mile from Ingleton and just 6 miles away from Kirkby Lonsdale. We have 10 guest bedrooms, two of which have four poster beds, one twin bedroom and one family bedroom, the rest are double bedrooms. We are ideally located for the those doing the Yorkshire Three Peaks or visiting the White Scar Caves and Ingleton Waterfalls. All of our food is prepared freshly on site to order and we use locally sourced suppliers. For those Ale drinkers we have 8 Cask Ale hand pulls, which during the busy season we try and have all 8 on. During the quieter months this is not always possible. For those winter months we have two roaring log burning stoves in the bar and for the Summer months we have two lovely beer gardens, one out the front of the hotel looking over St Oswalds Church and one out the back looking over open fields. For the best available rates please look at the hotel website.

Great food, friendly staff

Friendly place to eat n drink. Always busy in the evenings but they try their best to get you a table. Delicious food and good beers. Will be going back very soon.

Knew of this place already as I've stayed here some years ago. Booked for Saturday night. We travelled to a nearby campsite with a 'local pub 10 minute walk away'. I was thrilled when I realised it was this pub! We both had sirloin steak. We were a little concerned when we were brought steak knives... a good steak shouldn't... More

Visited for lunch yesterday. Although we rang the day before to find out if food was being served before we attempted the 45 minute drive we were told food was being served until 3.30. We set of for the drive and when we arrived at 2.30 the pub was closed! After a few phone calls we were advised they had... More

Last ate at the Marton Arms many years ago, and as we are local, thought we would have lunch there today. Arrived at 12 noon. Only two other people in there. Ordered sausage and mash, and the beef roast dinner. Sausage and mash review-mash not very creamy at all, veg nice, sausage could have done with cooking longer, and a... More

We have stayed and used the Martin Arms for many years but not more recently. We called in for a drink and thought it is in great need of a facelift, decorating etc. it looks dowdy dull & very dusty with grubby paintwork, not as welcoming as it always used to be.

We are walkers when in this area so another visit to The Marton Arms it was. Six in our party and as usual were met by friendly accommodating faces. It was a chilly day and we made for the wonderful log fire. It is more often not full of hikers, pot hollers, caravanners etc so usually a great friendly atmosphere.... More

We recently met up with friends for a lunchtime meal at the Marton Arms and where pleasantly surprised. We ate inside and then as it was a beautiful day we sat in the garden and finished our drinks in the sun. There was a good choice on the menu, and more than one veggie choice. The food was piping hot... More

Recently had an enjoyable evening at the Marton Arms. Food was decent pub grub and the range of drinks on offer was comprehensive. We found the staff to be friendly and customer focused.

Friendly pub with a log burner roaring away and the also very friendly pub dog Roxy ready to greet you! Had a very nice steak pie and some good draught beer which was well earned after a day at the waterfalls which is a short walk away
